Absolutely the worst KFC ever, got an eight piece bundle meal through the app. Went to pick it up at about 9pm so not a busy time. When I got to the micntold my order number. Then proceeded to politely ask if I could get some hand wipes with the order. The reason I ask at the mic is so they don’t have to go back and get them when they inevitably leave them out of the bag when passing food through the window.nAfter getting most of the food, I check the bag no hand wipes, so again I ask politely. Girl looked annoyed that I asked, while I’m annoyed I had to ask twice. When really you shouldn’t have to ask at all, they expect you to eat fried chicken without something to clean your hands with, sorry I’m not a caveman. The girl proceeded to lie and tell me sorry they’ve run out of hand wipes then said sorry in the most sadistic way, obviously I knew she was lying. If you don’t want to do your job properly then you shouldn’t be working that job. Anyway got home and didn’t even bother to throw in serviette’s, among other items. Since I’m annoyed call the manager, who was just as bad as the staff. Manager did confirm they had hand wipes. Anyway got a refund and will never ever support that hell hole again. Plus the chicken was of the most abject quality, I mean my dog would probably eat it, but his standards aren’t that high.nnUpdate;nEvery 1 review they send out a genericnpre-approved, pre-written, pre-emptivenreply to the criticism. Short version is we’re sorry and work to improve. Funny thing is they go back over six years, probably have more going back further that have been deleted due to expiry date’snSo sorry to not putting much value into your words, because in reality actions not words create change.
I always ordered from another KFC because to me Gungahlin had turned to crap in the past year. I thought I would try it again months and months later to see. Here it is, delivery bag not sealed properly, 1 large chips half empty , one large chips MISSING, large potato and gravy MISSING, KFC Original recipe chicken all BURNT to a crisp, 1.25 Pepsi Max MISSING. Their staff would have clearly seen what they were packaging up obviously. I say there is no way they didn't know what they were doing. Chips thrown loose in bottom of the bag. No PepsiMax , given wicked wings I don't like - undercooked. Only got a partial refund from UberEATS disgusting and was it was worse than ever. I don't know who the manager is there but out of all the KFC's in Canberra and Sydney that I got to , it is with no exception the worst. The staff are clearly untrained. In fact unfortunately it is the worst KFC I have ever frequented . I usually go to the next closest suburbs KFC .
We had an order delivered from Gunghalin and it was the worst food I have ever seen from a fast food service and that is saying something….nOur chicken looked like it expired a week ago and our chips were squashed the burger… if you can call it that was all over the place so we got to eat the nuggets…. Not the first time they have got me but it is definitely the last time
I bought zinger box meal on 7th Feb 2026 the chicken individual pieces are not well cooked, the burger is soggy. Chicken doesn’t feel fresh.nnWhen I bite the end part it feels like biting a hard rock.nnNever ever coming back to KFC GUNGAHLIN
I have been to the Gungahlin KFC multiple times over the past few of years. The overall quality and service is consistent with the surrounding KFC locations. Fortunately, they upgraded their drive-thru a while ago which made it easier getting into/out of. Unfortunately, the are several pot holes and tight corners that need to be traversed carefully in order not to damage your vehicle.
