6 Dec 2025 at 12:30pm. The place looks rarely cleaned. I went into the male toilet, where the urinal was blocked and due to the automatic flushing, was overflowing onto the floor. In the toilet cubical was a toilet brush that was black and looks like it has never been cleaned and the soap dispenser was also empty so you could not wash your hands. I then when into the other toilet so I could wash my hands and there was something, I don't want to guess what, on the toilet, showing that was not cleaned either. I spoke with the manager lucky to be over 20 and explained the situation including the overflowing toilet and asked who was responsible to clean the toilet as it needed to be fixed and cleaned. She said they got people in to do that not sure what they do. We still ordered and ate there and in the 1/2 hour we were there, no-one went in to even stop the overflowing toilet. Unbelievably lazy, unhygienic and disgusting and a manager that does not know how to manage. With that lack of care factor for cleanliness, I'd not trust the food hygiene and will not be going back there.
I have given Chicken and chips 2 1/2 to 3 stars due to chips being soggy and cold, ordered 3 chicken wings….….received 1 Drumstick, 1 Wing, 1 Breast…. they were dry, tasteless and overcooked. Possibly sitting in warming oven for a very long time. I specifically asked if the chips and the chicken had just been cooked. The ants I received was yes.. I can tell you they weren’t. I love KFC , However, the last few occasions I have been to Emu Bank Belconnen, Left me very disappointed and possibly won’t return there again, Possibly going to Hawker KFC and give them a go. My order number was 756. ORIGINAL 3PCE BOX…I might add on one occasion I waited for the chicken and the chips to be cooked, Taking approximately 15 to 20 minutes, however, it was certainly worth the wait, it was absolutely delicious.
15th Dec at 7:42pm Takeaway counter. A male staff member was transferring few pieces of wicked wing chicken from the food warmer to the take away box when accidentally one piece chicken fell on top of the counter. The stainless steel counter top doesn't seem clean and tidy as evident of several foods scraps all over. He initially swiped away the piece of chicken as if rejected and proceeded to take a few more to complete my order, but to my surprise instead of leaving it on top of the counter he sneaky placed the piece of chicken back inside the box as if no one noticed. However, since I saw everything from the time he prepared it, to the moment he handed it over to me, I asked for a replacement straightaway. Yet somehow he attempted to convince me that the counter top was clean, obviously I insisted. To make matters worse, when he told the manager on duty and when I spoke assertively about what I saw, the manager was not even sympathetic and was seem grumpy and uninterested to what had just happened. An appalling experience for both hygiene and the management which I have never experienced before anywhere else in Australia. Indeed something the store branch should seriously ponder. I have always believed food safety should be an integral priority of any food establishments likewise considering they are a fast food giant. Never again to this branch.
Coming from Sydney, best KFC we’ve experienced. The food came fast, our wicked wings were perfectly fried and the sizes of the chicken were consistent. Same goes with the drumsticks. Kind customer service was given, and the workers aren’t stingy with the portions or materials. Would come again if I lived here.
Would not recommend the new stranger things burger. Chicken was dry, tough and half the size of the bun. There was more cheese on the wrapper than in the burger. The bacon was an off-putting soft texture. Good for a laugh, bad if you're hungry.n2 stars instead of 1 as the Belconnen store is normally decent. Chalk it up to a bad day maybe?
