We pulled in here to get lunch on Saturday, steak burgers, a couple of potato scallops & thick shakes. I can’t fault it, steak burgers, had all the salads, steak was a little tougher than I like but it was during a lunch time rush so I get it, still tasted good. Proper old school scallops not the processed ones, best of all the thick shakes - sooo good, extra thick and creamy. I’d go back there alone just for the thick shakes on a hot day.
Customer service is great. Food is good. Price is reasonable. Fish with Chips and gravy recommend. Burgers fresh.Food: 5/5
Wow, what fantastic tasty food. If you are in the area you can’t miss this. Generous serves and great atmosphere. We were a group of 13 people and they seated us easily my daughter had booked. Definitely want to go back and try more on the menu.

Moved to Laidley 3 years ago. Can say that I had to stop buying the occasional food items from Kelli's because the quality was so low. Prawns always tasteless and overcooked, chips like cardboard and sometimes just mushy, and my favourite crumbed cod is imported, frozen and always gave me diarrhea. Kelli gets dozens of complaints about her hours and not staying open for a weekend nightime feed especially Friday nights, but she's the only fac around here and knows customers can't go elsewhere, but won't put staff on to open. I do not recommend at all.
Ordered fish and chips snack pack and paid for that price and received a fried hot dog and chips instead. Chips were pretty nice though. I would get your order read back to you to make sure they’ve head you properly and open your order before leaving.
Just ordered $5 with of chips and got more like $10 asked for extra salt and that's what I got. Very friendly service and a nice lady to talk to can't fualt the shop at all. Thanks
Fish and Chips are ok, not fantastic but not bad either. Got a couple of good deals as well.
$46 for 2 cabana sausages a chicken works burger on it's own,3 pieces of fish that came with $5.00 worth of chips and two cans of coke,when the first payment went through she was rude as hell and then changed the price by a $1.00 the next time I stated it seemed a bit rich too be met with a blank stare. The chips where so soggy and with no salt! and undercooked the fish tasted like shark the sausages where wrapped with the chips and also undercooked the only thing half decent was the burger The fish went too the dog and the chips went in the bin.If you want rude customer service and below average expensive food come here.
Old school Fish n Chips. Excellent range on the menu. Great service, friendly. One of the last true Fish and Chip shops you'll find. Highly recommend
