What can I say but that a company that has been in operation since "1938" must be doing something right.

I have had the same experience from Keith Hay hamilton branch told us anything to get the sale took our money and then never did a single thing they said 3-4 months for a house and that is the only reason we signed with them - now still not finished 7 months on and we don't even have a hand over date anymore the last one was 10 days ago.. David Hay pretty much told us too bad they are busy and they offered us the same house a month late but we would have to pay another $28'000!! we are a young family purchasing our first home with 3 young kids have been living in a studio cabin with no power or wastewater which the rental has now runtil out and are pretty much homeless in winter in Taupo! I wish I had have read the above reviews and saved myself alot of stress and money!! 

Our house has been delivered has numerous plumbing and electrical problems, has been built to incorrect earthquake and climate zones!!!! The kitchen needs to be redone, skirting replaced and numerous paint problems this is supposed to be a brand new home! we are yet to get a date from David Hay as to when he will fix our home??.

I have been waiting since March 2016 to have a house built and now 2017 when Keith Hay have told me it is ready . I have just found out that it has so many defects it unbelievable . They have the nerve to asked for the final payment on a property that is in such a state. More to come!
