Delicious turkish food! My affection for them started with a simple uber eats order of an Adana, Iskender and Kusbasi Pide, all three blew me away. As someone of turkish heritage, and a big pot belly, I know my Turkish food, and this was top notch. This experience took me and my partner to the actual shop / restaurant to eat it first hand and we were not left disappointed. Well, the shop itself could do with a trippling in size, but I believe they are more of a take away restaurant than an in house dining restaurant. Seeing the 3 Turkish mothers there cooking and making everything made it all make sense. Everything, once again, was delicious. Look, a little on the pricey side for a small take away type shop, BUT, the quantity and quality spoke for themselves. The dips were all delicious, we tried the humus, cacik, capsicum and eggplant. The meals were HUGE and everything cooked well. Plus the meat is all from TEK which is the best supplier in the state, if not the country. On this sitting we got 2 large main meals and 2 large pides, plus 2 cokes and paid just over $100. We also could only finish half of our main meals and didn't touch the pides. And we are both 100kg plus men. Soooo well worth it as we ate the same food around 3 times each till it was finished. All in all, 10/10 would recommend. Prepare to spend a bit though, it's not going to be cheap, but you will definitely get your moneys worth for both quality and quantity. I recommend the adana / iskender / chicken shish meal and kusbasi pide. Amazing.
The food is exquisite here for a fast food outlet and a quick dine in experience. Leaves your palette clean and the flavours are authentic. Highly recommend stopping for a quick bite! Staff are friendly and leave you enjoying your meal.
Oh boy it is so good. I live across the road from these guys, and in all the times I've been, they have never disappointed. Fresh produce, generous serving sizes, and a lovely, friendly welcome. Plus the food just tastes incredible. Thanks very much!
Got lunch here on a whim and it was reasonably busy. They were preparing multiple orders together so the food was all laid out on the prep counter. Unfortunately by the time I got my order it was cold so the lamb just tasted of fat. Was surprised to get what's basically a sandwich rather than a traditional kebab because they serve on turkish bread not pita, and don't toast anything afterwards. The guy also tried to charge me a 50c transaction fee on a $3.50 bottle of water, so yeah, I won't be back.
Ordered kebab and HSP with extras. We received bread with a little lettuce and few pieces of meat without extras and with wrong dip. It was even hard to eat! HSP was chips with sprinkle of meat without extras as well! We hoped that for so much money we got proper food. Do not bother to order there. Do not recommend!
It's legit authentic. Get a fresh made Bab in under 5 mins 90% of the time. Expect a reasonable wait at peak times. It gets busy because it's good. Generous serving in the small chippys. Combo #3 is where the value is at!Food: 4/5
Amazing Tasty Kababs. I liked the Turkish bread but if you want the Aussie wrap style you have to ask for it. The meat is really tasty and high quality and if you are lucky you will meet Furkan the professional boxer working with his dad. Ask for a selfie, bonus! Definitely a cut above the rest when it comes to take away food.
Best place for a doner in Melbourne. Used to live in Germany and this brought back memories. Dine-in is average atmosphere but you go there for the food!Food: 5/5
