A simple but sleek design dining area with sufficient space and not super crowded. The place give a good vibe on entering but be sure to book in advanced as there ain’t many tables. The staff are very friendly and we were very lucky that the staff accommodated us with a baby pram without a booking and even with all the tables occupied/reserved. They have an open kitchen which is great as you can see their hygiene standards.nAlthough their menu prices are on the higher end compared to other hawkers places in Perth, their chicken rice was cooked to perfection and with amazing flavour but could do with a bit more of the chicken soy sauce. My husband said it’s one of the best chicken rice he’s had in Perth.nI did not find their curry chicken rice any fancier in flavour than other places but hats off to their innovative thinkings for adding potato chips on top to satisfy the crunchy cravings or if you have little kids to please. Definitely could do with a lot more curry sauce as the rice got quite dry half way through and just not the same eating plain white rice towards the end. Overall, highly recommended to try.
I dropped in here for dinner in a Saturday night 2 people.nnWe were treated warmly on arrival, but there was a bit of a misunderstanding with our reservation partly my error. That said, the staff did their best and accommodated us.nnThe restaurant is fairly small, with some of the tables situated quite close to the toilet doors maybe a little uncomfortably close for some, but it is marketed as “hawker-style”. Interior is simple, with sparse tables and stools for seating.nnThe menu feels pretty authentically Malaysian, and the options are interesting. There are some great specials too.nnOur favourite dish was the fried chic peas.
I had the weekend special Ox tails, curry sauce, butter beans, steamed rice and cabbage salad. The Ox tails were cooked to perfection. Curry sauce wasn't what I was expecting but good none the less. Butter beans, green beans and cabbage all added to the experience. Service was great and Kitchen looked on point and smooth
Tasty spot! We had the KCH Laksa, The C.K.T Char Keuh Tiaw, ice Milo + Teh Goyang shaked milk tea. The C.K.T was especially good. Only downside was that we were nearly finished our food before we got our drinks, they were super busy though.
Tasty Malaysian/Singapore cuisine; small menu but makes for a great quick bite; table service. Affordable with casual atmosphere. Only a few tables so best to book or go early.
