Been getting my hair done at Kawsa for about 10yrs if not longer and now my daughters go there as well. We all love going there, we feel very pampered every time. Paul, Stef, Tamika and Amber are very professional and we always love our hair afterwards. Yes true they aren’t cheap, but you get what you pay for! We feel it’s worth itServices: Hairstyling
After going here for regular cuts for years, I booked my sister and I in for a cut and style with a months notice prior to my birthday party. When we arrived and explained what I wanted donewhich I’d done over the phone they explained they hadn’t allowed enough time to finish the job and expressed that they only had time for cut. This was obviously pretty distressing as I had my 30th that night and it was already mid day I didn’t have time to find a plan B. After much frustration expressed on my end, they asked me to wait while they did the next girls hair ahead of me and then they would push to fit me in afterwards. In the end it was a rush job and was charged roughly $200 which all in all felt pretty rich given the circumstances. Given the time constraints I had on the day I didn’t feel like I could question this and the hair dresser had already told me a number of times that it was putting her day out her staying back to do my hair and that she had a private appointment she had to get to at 2pm. After years of being happy with the work here I’ve since not gone back and I’m still pretty iffy about trying it again but it does feel harsh at the same time. It just felt like the organisation had gone down hill.
I moved to the area a few years ago and was looking for a new hairdresser. Was recommended to Kawsa. Portia has been fantastic, always get the perfect cut and colour!
Amazing stylists and nice vibe. Prices are highly than competitors, but it is thoroughly worth it !
