We ordered spicy soba + cheese Katsu onside and prawn katsu. Have been this place few times and always a good choice when you need comfort food. Stringy Cheese + deep fried pork. So tasty! The place also offers healthy choices, variety of options. Great place for casual dinning.

I tried the tofu bento at KatsuCo Toowong and really enjoyed it. The tofu was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft inside, with the katsu sauce adding just the right flavour. The sides- fresh cabbage, rice, pickles, and miso soup, made it a balanced and satisfying meal. A lovely option for anyone looking for a lighter or vegetarian choice. Also, staff are extremely friendly and attentive.

The pork katsu is tender on the inside and perfectly crispy on the outside. There are several ways to enjoy it — with truffle oil, pink salt, or the sesame mix with sauce. The service is excellent, though you might need to wait during dinner peak hours, even on weekdays.

I recently had the absolute pleasure of ordering the Katsuco Set with Fry Pork at this fantastic Japanese restaurant, and it was nothing short of incredible.nnThe star of the show was, without a doubt, the pork cutlet itself. The tonkatsu was cooked to absolute perfection. The panko breadcrumb coating was incredibly light, golden brown, and provided the most satisfying, delicate crunch with every single bite. But the true magic was underneath that crispy exterior—the pork was remarkably tender and juicy. It practically melted in my mouth, with a rich, savory flavor that was simply outstanding. It’s clear they use high-quality meat and have mastered their frying technique.nnThe set meal was beautifully presented and so satisfying. The tangy tonkatsu sauce was the perfect complement to the rich pork, and the side of shredded cabbage was fresh and refreshing, providing a nice crisp contrast. A bowl of perfectly steamed rice and a comforting bowl of miso soup completed this ideal, well-balanced meal.nnI really enjoyed the food and this dish in particular. The entire experience was a delight from start to finish. This katsuco set is a testament to classic Japanese comfort food done right. I cannot recommend it highly enough and I will definitely be back for more

If you are looking for a place for dinner or lunch nearby this is the place to be, with various sizes depending on how hungry you are. I ordered the Tonkatsu highly recommend if you are not that hungry. The atmosphere was great and the staff was helpful. 5 Stars although would suggest you park at Toowong village.
