Very quaint station, it was a lovely start to out arrival at Katoomba. First port of call was the ladies loo… well impressed. Same on the way back to Sydney, station is beautifully kept and most importantly the trains are on time ‍
Really clean and quiet place, I met when we travelled to three sisters.
Nice view good weather. But disappointed because 1 Hour only got 1 train.
The only toilet is at almost the top of one of the platforms, which is terrible placement when said platform is busy. We couldn't find a sign directing to a bathroom and ended up leaving the station and having to come back in again after our long train ride.
Katoomba station is a landmark place for visiting blue mountains, adventure park, three sisters rock etc. 2.5hrs train journey from sydney central to katoomba is very comfortable journey. Just get down and take bus to blue mountain area.
