Great location. Easy to reach. Beautiful view. Quiet, surrounded by nature, and friendly environment. Beautiful birds’ songs all the day. Highly recommended for meditation/mindfulness. Volunteers are welcomed, such as to help keep the temple clean and tidy.
Absolutely serene place of worship. This is said to be the very first Buddhist Temple to be built in Australia. We came here on first day of 2023 to get blessings.

This is the very first Buddhist temple in Australia. It has kept its tranquility and peaceful atmosphere and loving approach to anyone visits. If you are looking for any type of salvation or a friendly chat to an un opinionated Buddhist monk.. you are at the right place!!
If you're planning on visiting the temple, please call ahead. We found this notice on the gate: "To comply with CovidSafe, as of Friday 15th of May, entry to the Vihara is by telephone appointment only 47822704 and will be restricted to 7 visitors. Visiting Hours: Mon. to Fri: 8am to 1pm, and 4pm to 6pm. Sat. and Sun: 8am to 6pm."
Love the temple. Nice view. Will recommend everyone to visit once at least.
Beautiful Buddhist religious temple
A very quite, tranquil and a serene place to escape from the busy, hectic life and achieve the inner peace of life. It's a feeling that cannot be forget.
