I visited Kate’s Place when I visited Albany in May 2023 and ensured I returned when I visited again March 2024. The service is great and the coffee is perfect. The food is also delicious. I also love the gallery. Thank you also for providing half sized meals! As someone with a tiny tummy, this is very appreciated.

We’ve been in Albany a week and the coffee here was definitely my favourite, and nice & hot as I like it. Cosy, warm & friendly little coffee shop on a cold winters day.

Wonderful cafe.  Stopped in a busy Sunday morning.  Staff were friendly, smiling and efficient.nnNice chai latte and potato cakes vege option were delicious.nnDog friendly seating outside

We got the beef burger with chips and poached eggs on toast with bacon. Both were delicious, the chips were crispy and the burger was stacked. We also got a hot chocolate and a chai latte, both were strong and extra foamy. Thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast here and if we ever come back to Albany this is where we will be for breakfast.

Kate's Place was recommended by an Albany local. So glad we took her advice. Reasonably priced somewhat different brekky options which we relished pun intended. Photo is pretty much self explanatory, with the home made beans and bacon and a breakfast burger. Coffees were very good and the service excellent.
