Karkarook Park is such a lovely place for an evening walk. The trails by the water are so calming, and the whole area just feels peaceful. If you're lucky, you might catch a gorgeous sunset reflecting off the lake.
Nice park, which seemed well maintained. A nice spot for picnics and walking. I hadn't been here before and didn't realise it would be largely paved with black asphalt - which was very very hot despite being a relatively mild day. There was some room to walk my dog off to the side of the asphalt however this was mostly sandy, also very hot. Some areas were grassy, and these were quite cool. Hopefully we'll return when the weather is cooler.
Love it, absolutely beautiful park. Lots of activities to do here, fishing, canoeing, cycling, playing balls, walk the dogs, picnic & BBQ. Can spend a whole day here. Low cost entertainment with lots of fun :

Karkarook Park is a wonderful spot for walking, running, or just enjoying the outdoors.
