Maybe I was hungry but I liked the food here. Char Kuey teow was nice and the satay chicken was nicely marinated with a nice peanut sauce. Everything though is in take away containers though eating in and it was a little pricey for the portion size. Also to eat indoors it a small venue
The taste was just okay. Well, had the the chance to try it out but not that worthy for the long journey from western suburbs to come back again. It’s a bit pricey so was expecting the portion will be bigger as other Malaysian restaurants. Wished they could be served quickly and in bigger portion.
Here's the best authentic Malaysian restaurant you'd find in Hurstville. The interiors remind you of the rustic feel of an olden day hawker centre. The menu looked great and I had the prawn laksa where the laska soup was tasty, not overly heavy and the prawns were delicious. The Milo dinosaurs are a great touch as well!
Good Malaysian restaurant in the seas of Chinese food at Hurstville. Their Char Keow Teow was very tasty and authentic. Their Hainanese chicken rice, not so much. Price is reasonable, but there is a bit of wait time since they don't have that many staffs.
My best friend and I were looking for a place to eat, and it was getting late. I did a quick search on google and this restaurant came up. I called in ahead to ask if it was too late for us to come in, and the lady was so sweet so we rushed over. We were greeted the moment we entered the door. We were seated and served. Everything was simply delicious, the food was gorgeous both in presentation and in flavour. Our service was excellent. Very warm, friendly and inviting which is exactly what you want on a cold rainy night! I will most certainly be coming back to Kampong Boy again, and I'll be bringing my family with me! ^_^
Great service, authentic Malaysian food - yummylicious! All authentic Malaysian food especially the delicious Hainanese chicken rice, satay, nasi lemak, char koay teow and so much more. Been an ardent customer for the past 8 years at least. Even the drinks are authentically Malaysian - dinosaur Milo! You were expecting me to say teh tarik right? These are all real Malaysian taste. There're street parking right outside the restaurant - convenient.
Great authentic Malaysian food! Love the decor.
Amazing Malaysian cuisine! I really love this place, great food, good service and atmosphere! Love the laksa and the tofu!!
It's pretty good here. Service was good. Hainanese chicken rice was quite good. The soup wasn't the tastiest but wasn't too bad. The satay tasted good. The sauce was different to what I'm used to, like there's soybeans in it. The ice kachang was ok. Not amazing, missing condensed milk I think. Overall, isn't too bad.
1 and half chicken wing with rice cost $12.8 , the dish doesn’t match the menu. The dish Was Not worth at all, never come again
