Great pies! Would definitely recommend the steak and cheese
The place to get great pies and yummy saltana scones and get re-eneegized for another hard day's surfing in the world class point breaks of Kaikoura.

Fabulous food but too popular. We had trouble getting in and making it to the counter was a mission and this was only 11.30am. Maybe they need a bigger shop.
Popped in to the Kaikoura Bakery just now for the first time and man oh man, it was delicious. The young chap working this afternoon was super friendly and patient with our indecisiveness. The marmite and cheese scroll was the best I have ever had!!
Popular place. We got pies, a veg sandwich & chelsea buns. Wasn't life changing by any means, but filled the gap before getting back on the road. A bit pricey for a kiwi bakery, but it is Kaikoura so, expected. Picnic tables out front to eat & get going.
The food in in was so good. Great place to great lunch
