Delicious Indian cuisine and lovely staff. Hardly any wait time for food even when the restaurant is busy. We go every year on our family holiday and we aren’t disappointed!
You can eat authentic Indian food here. We’ve tried so many Indian restaurants in Auckland, but this place offers you fantastic food than those in Auckland. Highly recommended. The manager/owner is such a friendly guy. Thanks for the lovey service
Highly recommend the butter chicken! It was amazing 10/10 we had it mild The chicken vindaloo which we got in med was quite spicy for med in my opinion but was delicious nonetheless 8/10 Nana bread was perfectly cooked and was so good to dip into the suace of the curries. The service was on point and so friendly! When I was checking the menu online, the prices were different and so I had to spend more money than I thought I would when I arrived and ordered in store. I hope they update their online menu
My husband is a butter chicken only man when out for Indian. He loved this butter chicken said it was the best he has ever had! My meal was splendid the naan is gorgeous. Well done again we will be back!
Unfortunately a long wait 10min for a menu before we could order. Entree Onion bhaji didn't taste that good. Very floury. Ordered the butter chicken mild and got no spice / heat at all after a 45min wait. The garlic naan came as a standard naan. It just wasn't a good experience at all. I'm sure they have off days. It's just we got that day....
Always a good meal here. Lovely friendly service and well priced. Plenty of parking right outside. Can't go past Kafal's for a good meal in Whangamata.
The food is delicious. I got my go to Butter chicken and cheesy garlic Naan. When I do order different things of the menu it's always so good. Staff are Cool. Fast and efficient. Nice and Clean environment.
Food is always great and we always have a great time. Service was a little slow but to be expected over Xmas/New Year!Food: 4/5
Really lovely food from Kafal. I’ve been lucky enough to eat Indian cuisine in many cities across the world and this little gem In Whangamata is up there with the best and …….the service is great.
I'm sorry to say we were really dissapointed with dinner tonight. We've recently moved to the area and this was our first visit. We both got the Chicken Korma mild and it was tasteless and watery. The vegetable pakoras were dense and had a funny taste. All round just really dissapointed.
