Highly recommend K1 dentist! Dr Jesse was extremely understanding and sympathetic of the painful situation with my wisdom teeth, and clearly and carefully explained every part of the appointment, all my current options and next steps to take in the future. I felt so comfortable from beginning to end of my exam, and actually am looking forward to my next appointment who would have thought! also huge thanks to Nicole at reception! Who was also very kind and understanding of all my calls in pain to the center in the past couple of days ! Thanks all!
For me K1 Dental has excellent service and very close to public transport with cafes nearby. It is easy to book for an appointment. In my case, I booked Friday night through HealthEngine and had my appointment Saturday morning for a scale and clean with X-ray. I met Marcia, the Dental Hygienist, she is friendly and very accommodating. She is also careful, very skilled and knowledgeable in her craft. I felt comfortable and happy during the whole procedure. In addition, the lounge has a chill ambience and accommodating receptionists. I received lots of dental freebies as well so, it is a 10/10 experience for me.
Had an appointment with Alistair Yan this morning and felt safe and comfortable. His honest, gentle, helpful advice and dentistry is highly valued by myself, my husband and my children. We have changed clinics to continue seeing him and I was most impressed with K1 Dental. The reception staff and the dental nurse were just lovely. Five stars....because I can't give 6!
I went to see Dr Adam Evans yesterday for a check-up and a wisdom tooth removal. This was my first experience getting a tooth removed, so I was a bit nervous, but I'm so happy it was with Dr Evans- he was informative, funny, patient and it was painless. I will definitely be back for another appointment with him- thank you Dr Evans!
Dentist Jesse is amazing! I came in a little embarrassed with my dental hygiene and with quite a lot of pain, expecting an expensive visit and a disappointed dentist but he was so kind! Did not make me feel embarrassed once, quoted all fees transparently and very competitive pricing. Very caring dentist and all the staff throughout are so welcoming and lovely! Will be making this my new permanent dentist couldn’t be happier :

I am so happy to have found where Dr Alistair Yan is now working. I will now have to travel a lot further to see him, but I am more than happy to do this. Dr Alistair is one of the most genuine and honest practitioners I have had dealings with over my 6 decades. I can, and do, recommend his care and honesty, not to mention his adept ability for great dental work!
I’ve been seeing Allister Yan and highly recommend him! He is very caring and kind and takes the time to explain what he’ll be doing and the options available. I’m a very nervous patient and Allister has always been conscious of that and really sympathetic and gentle with the procedures. He takes the time to listen and talk to you, as well as have a laugh! I’ve been so happy with my experiences with Allister and me and my family will be sticking him!
I have recently followed Allister Yan from a different practice to K1 Dental - as he has been my dentist for many years now & for good reason...he is very gentle, understanding which is important when you have a intense fair of dentistry due to a traumatic experience at childhood & an Adult experience where the Dentist was very greedy which left me in a far worst state than I arrived with nothing but a massive bill & a lot of pain afterwards to show for it, extremely talented, kind has always called me in the days following to check on me, he explains everything in advance, gives you options where possible, great listener when it comes to you explaining what your issues are & how he can help with your priorities, whenever I have had emergencies he has never let me down & always reassured me along the way...I literally could go on & on about how talented he is & how grateful I am that he's become almost like a friend, that has also saved me from being a toothless terrified mess on multiple occasions - I literally can't recommend him enough & proof of how much I trust him is that I literally have been travelling from the other side of Melbourne for all these years only to get his excellent care with no regrets!!! I recently went to K1 Dental for the very first time; but had spoken to their staff on the phone prior who were absolutely lovely, caring & very helpful. First thing I noticed was exceptional easy access safe parking lot right next door, I am not going to lie when I first heard Toorak I thought I was going to have to sell an organ to keep my Dentist; but was shocked to find they were cheaper than the previous practice, multiple Health Providers preferred & then if that was not enough multiple signage saying they except Afterpay which makes them affordable to everyone, especially if you're having an unexpected dental emergency...The Staff when I arrived were very friendly; but also very professional in that I had some queries & they explained with ease, the waiting area was very comfortable with lovely leather sofas as opposed to the usual small uncomfortable plastic bump elbows chairs you expect in hospitals or clinics/offices where clearly their priority is about budget & not customer satisfaction plus creating a less anxious environment for those that get nervous like me...The whole clinic was very clean & has all the modern tech equipment needed like specialty on-site X-ray machinery that isn't always available at all dentists...Nikki was my Dental Assistant that day she was very nice & did a great job helping me keep calm with my fear even though the procedure was very quickly done; but in saying that very efficient because was very relieved & happy with the results, however not surprising given Allister always does a great job - I can assure you if you need a Dentist K1 Dental is the best place to go!!!
Thank you to Dr Allister Yan and the team at K1 Dental for fitting us in late on a Saturday to repair my daughters badly broken front tooth ! You made us feel very welcome and did a great job of keeping my daughter calm and fixed the tooth so well and so quickly !
