Love the food from this restaurant & so happy to have them in Petone. Today after travelling 10hrs from up north, I picked something different which was Chicken Pad Thai. The portion size was generous & filled with chicken, veges including bean sprouts & fresh herbs etc however it was quite glutinous & everything kind of stuck together. It was tasty but I’ll stick to my favourites. And also the staff are lovely!
It's my fav go-to restaurant !! Kind staffs & large portion. You will see a sparkling clean cooking area when you pass thru the kitchen to go to the bathroom. Pad Thai tastes amazing with a lot of beef. Lardnar Crispy Noodle is also one of a kind. I can't find any other better Thai restaurant than here.
I had the Banh Xeo - A savoury Vietnamese pancake filled with pork mince, spring onion & beansprouts, drizzled with sweet & sour sauce & roasted peanuts It was delicious. The flavours were really good. The restaurant was really busy but they were surprisingly quick to serve considering everybody had turned up all at once.. Highly recommended place to eat.
Really good Beef Pad Thai, decor faded but don’t let that put you off, great service, tasty large portions at reasonable prices.
Four of us went out for what we thought was a cheap and cheerful meal, it was that and beyond! It seriously was the best Thai all of 4 of us have eaten and we eat out a lot! The portions were generous, the food was so fresh and tasty - if I could rate it higher than a 5 star I would. Really good service here, they managed to squeeze in our group of 4 on an early Saturday evening which we were stoked about. Food was really good, and had plenty of vegan options which I was excited to see! Can’t wait to go back and will be bringing other friends to try.
Would have given this restaurant a 5 star but unfortunately now Two orders through Door Dash have been incomplete and there was a slight issue with another dish. First, ordered the Pork ribs no.35 however did not receive the accompanying Soup. Second time ordered the ribs however did not receive the Sweet and Sour Sauce. Also, ordered Larbnar Crispy Noodle no.32 and the noodles were not crispy at all. Otherwise, have had quite a few orders now from k sing which were OUTSTANDING!!!
As someone who orders regular takeout across all cusines and restaurants and shops due to the nature of my job, I have nothing but commendation for K Sing. From consistency of taste and authenticity that they have retained throughout the years, the flavours have gotten better every year. Despite the hardship of restaurants due to Covid, K Sing has maintained their generosity, price and taste and forever I will be a loyal customer. I have tried almost everything at least once from their menu. The laab is nothing short of amazing through to their crispy noodles. Please don’t be scared to try something new from the menu. Again, I have nothing but commendation for K Sing.
Fabulous food, with amazing flavours. Fav dishes vegan pad Thai with tofu. Awesome prices and great value for money, plenty left over for lunch the next day. Vegetarian options: Although the menu seems to lack vegetarian and vegan dishes they are very accommodating if you ask.
We almost always go to KSing when we visit Petone from Waikanae. The food is nutritious,tasty and generous and the staff are very pleasant. Don't miss this place!Recommended dishesNoodle Salad
