Story

Junk was created by award-winning chef Tony Kelly and business partner Scott Hoskins, and is helmed by rising culinary star Mitch Smith as executive chef. Originating in the Sunshine Coast, Junk has since expanded into the Toowoomba, Brisbane and Melbourne Market.

Had a leisurely lunch on a beautiful day sitting under an umbrella at Junk. The meal was amazing. The best pork belly we have ever eaten, chicken pad Thai and delicious fried rice washed down with a refreshing Asahi beer. Can’t wait to return to Junk for the best Asian food on the coast. Highly recommendde
Great food, good service, though the food took a little longer than usual, still a good experience.
Absolutely lovely place and yummy pork belly. Good serving size. Only down voted one star because the portion size of the other dishes such as the baos were too small for the price. Bit pricey for serving size.

Always enjoy going to Junk, great menu and selection of small share plates with nice flavours. Good selection of beverages. Usually very busy, but open seating on the footpath doesn't make it feel like it.
