If you want nice fresh chips, I suggest not ordering at lunch time. Got our chips and they were dry and tasted like cardboard. Guessing reheated from the night before. Seafood sticks were soggy and gross. Pretty much threw out the whole order. So disappointing.
Was on a little trip to Warner and grabbed this for lunch. Absolutely fantastic! The seafood sticks were definitely the best I've had, the chips were fantastic if not a bit oversalted, but still very good. One small improvement I'd think of is putting on the menus whats on the burgers, as the lovely man that served me had a bit of trouble remembering. I wish I lived closer to warner so I could eat here more!
The last three times we have ordered from there we have experienced less than average customer service. Today we ordered from there for lunch. On the phone when placing the order my partner asked what fish they had, the reply was, I will just give you Hoki. I picked up the order and the guy who served me was rude and unhelpful, huffing and rolling his eyes because he couldn't read the handwriting on the order taken by his colleague. When I paid for the food he gave me a bag to open and put all the food in myself. I said have a nice day to him as I left and he huffed at me. We asked for chicken salt and had no salt, the chips were cold and stale.
The prices were more than reasonable, the calamari was delicious, the chips were perfectly cooked and seasoned and the staff were friendly and helpful! Would definitely recommend, perfect to take out for lunch looking over the Lake Samsonvale. The only thing is I would have liked a few lemon squeezes with my calamari, but other than that small nitpick, it was a perfect fish 'n chip lunch for my friend and I :
The worst chips I've had from a 'fish & chip' shop. They tasted stale, dry, and re-fried or something that has been re-cooked from the previous day?. Who ever the owner is I would be reviewing who is cooking and manage this effectively before it impacts on your business. Either invest in better product or re-train who is cooking because I would not feed this to my dog. The picture is self explanatory
Think I’m done with this place, We have been coming here once a week for a couple months now would rather support a small business but I think I’m not going to return, the last couple times the service and food had been very average. Made an order today at 5pm online, it said it would be ready at 5.15 I was still standing waiting for it to be ready until 5.45, the cook had a long mullet and kept scratching his hair and beard while cooking!! And was chewing gum!! I only ate it cause it was the young girl cooking our food but watching the kid scratch his long hair and beard was a real turn off and made me feel sorry for the people he was cooking for.
I would give zero if I could. We ordered a couple of weeks ago. They forgot our Pluto pups. We called, they took our name and said we could get them next time. Well guess what, no you can't. They don't actually write it down so when they forget something from your order you will not receive it when you go back.
Just had for lunch. No photo's, couldn't stop till they were done! Chips were crispy perfection, barra was battered nicely and soft flaky flesh and tasted delicious. Very fast too, I ordered online on their website, started driving down and was handed to me 2 minutes after arrival. How great is online ordering without the massive markup usually on places like menulog or uber eats. Definitely my go-to for Warner area fish n chips!
Awesome chips, calamari and potato scollops. All was fresh, crunchy and the batter was light and crispy. We didnt expect much from reading the reviews on google but our experience here was five stars
Just had the “seafood basket” for $13… ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!! tasted great, piping hot, friendly service, and big enough portion that I couldn’t finish the chips and I am a big guy… I will definitely be eating here more often… And you should too.
