Finally got to try these guys and it certainly didn't disappoint.nnThe focaccha was lightly toasted and delicious. Plenty of fresh filling and a great blend of flavours. The cheese in mine might have been better as a mozzarella as it didn't have enough weight with all the other flavours. Kinda got lost.nnOutside of that great and I'd go back.
Came here to taste the sandwiches, lovely cute shop and friendly front of house staff, clean shop and attentive, ordered the 2 chicken sandwiches which were very full tasted like thigh chicken lots of flavor and spices. Also ordered coffees solid good job 10/10 well made, 2 coffees 2 sandwiches your looking at about $51. Nice place to come try across from 7 11 in Thornbury. Stools and tables inside for short sit when they are quite during the week rather than waiting in line on the weekend.
Sandwich was good, kind of on the expensive side. Had schnitzel sandwich..would have liked it if the schnitzel was a bit bigger.. sandwich was tangy and flavourful with good amount of slaw filling.. was busy so had to wait maybe 10 mins so not too long.. Other selection of sandwiches are available.. Size is good to share between two people who are not very hungry, else better to get something else as well.. Limited seating outside and can get busy on weekends..
Juju’s Deli, ThornburynnFinally visited my namesake months and months after it was sent to me.nnAll the panini here were generously sized with fresh and unique ingredients. My fav was the schnitzel which came with yuzu slaw ~$20, followed by the salami which came with sun dried tomatoes ~$18. We also had the mortadella which came with delicious green peppers and olives ~$17.nnThe focaccia itself was so good, crispy on the outside and generously salted, with a fluffy inside. I do think focaccia is the superior option for a panini.nnOverall 4.5 out of 5.
Cmon this place is a hidden treasure... literally ... you need to find really look for the entrance or you'll drive passed it 10 times like I did lol but it was worth the crazy gps fun!nTook my bestie with me to enjoy 2 of best focaccias we've ever had! The mortadella was light and wholesome and gave us room for more ! The snitzel!! Wow! What a lovely unique spin on a classic, the slaw was so yum and fragrant! Glad we shared these because they were massive lol coffee was good too. We got there round 1130am just shy of the rush but boy did we witness the rush as we were eating! Put this on your list for top Sanga bars!
