Absolutely delicious. For two adults and a child 11yrs We ordered; Steamed prawn dumplings Steamed chicken dumplings BBQ fried rice large Honey Spare Ribs Salt & pepper fried squid Portions were good sizes The rice was more than enough for 3 even 4 people The bbq ribs were so tasty Would definitely recommend Definitely didn’t leave hungry that’s for sure. Staff were very nice and attentive Will definitely return
I must say the best fresh seafood fried rice I’ve ever had in my life. The portion for a fried rice can be shared bet. 2-3 people. I first went there in January and now it’s been already the 4th times I dined in and 2 times did takeaway. The service is quick and staffs are very polite. Will definitely be back again!!
Really nice Chinese restaurant South of the River. From the ambience, the service to the tasty food everything was remarkable. What was most impressive was the speed of the food being cooked. It took like less then 10 minutes like super fast to get the meals from ordering to the table. This applies to both food and the drinks to be made. We had appetisers, mains and dessert with drinks on top and could not fault anything. Probably the Cantonese fried rice was the most subpar dish out of it all but everything else was presented well, tasted yummy and the prices was pretty reasonable for a kind of poshy Chinese place. So if you live south of the river and want a really good Chinese restaurant that is a bit more upmarket then this place should be on top of your list!!!
A very pleasant experience on a Saturday evening. The restaurant was quite busy and yet, the staff made all possible effort to keep us happy and comfortable. Delicious dishes, prompt service after ordering and good ambiance. There was no background music, which in a way was good because people could speak softly and still hear each other. All in all, a comfortable evening during generally uncomfortable times.
Amazing. The service was great, the waiter was extremely nice as well as the person who took a photo of my family and I. Food was amazing, we ordered one of the banquets. If you want to feel full, definitely recommend this place!
Szechuan chilli bean curd with cashew nuts Resteraunt / dining rating /5 Resteraunt located in fremantle, close to the public parking lots. Decent sized Resteraunt, very busy, bookings are essential at peak hour times, sometimes thr Resteraunt can feel a bit squishy and some of the tables are a bit small. Large menu, pricing a little expensive. lots of vegetarian options, excellent customer service, every team member was enthusiastic and gave recommendations on food and drinks, quick to order, and quick to serve food. Food was large portion sizes and tasted amazing. Vegetarian options: Large variety Parking: Public car park located close by - short walk to restaurant
Food was amazing, best Chinese we’ve had in Perth and we are very critical. Service was nice too, staff was friendly and smiling. Seafood spring rolls and dumplings were so good.
The food was great ... when it arrived. I'm not sure if it was by design or because it was busy, but the mains were served over a period of about an hour ... we had pretty much given up on seeing the last dish and were contemplating leaving, when it finally materialised. While our group was a reasonable size 9, and it was reasonably busy, I would expect an experienced and highly regarded restaurant like Joy Kitchen to be able to present all the mains within about 5-10 minutes, not over the better part of an hour. This was particularly irksome for those of us who had dietary preferences or allergies and were left unable to eat until their dish eventually showed up. It was also somewhat ironic, given the pressure we felt to leave within our allotted two hours. Overall a disappointment, in spite of the excellent food. Vegetarian options: Limited and uninspiring range of vegetarian options, that haven't changed over several years. Parking: Lots of paid parking available across the street.
One of the best Chinese restaurants I have ever eaten at! Food was incredible the portions were huge, very tasty & very reasonably priced! Service was amazing!
An absolute fantastic place, great meals, very fast service and the food was excellent. I travel all over Australia critiquing Asian restaurants and this place ranks amongst the highest places on my list so far 9/10 for service and food. The Prawn dumpling soup and prawn spring rolls were very fresh and country style crispy chicken was out of this world, mosit inside and crispy on the outside and the sauce was not over powering but just the right amount. Large seating for groups and the decor was a great fit. Well done JoY kitchen! It was indeed that.
