Great value for money with old school customer service. Family owned & operated restaurant with a great variety of food to choose from. You will not find better service or value for money in Melbourne & what's more it's right on the corner of the Iconic Melbourne Victoria market. Thank you Bela's
I quite enjoyed this place. Inexpensive but good eats.
I ordered a vegetarian pizza. It tasted good and the price was okay!
Such a disappointment. I looked around the different shops for a few minutes until I settled on this one, thinking it would be really good. I was greeted by a woman who was kind of pleasant but also impatient with me. Their menu is confusing and each question I asked was returned with the most minimal and irritated responses. I was told there was a $10 minimum, despite their food being reasonably cheap. I ended up getting a tomato sandwich, a custard tart, and a lemonade. The tart was bland, the lemonade overpriced, and the sandwich was so bad I couldn't even finish it. I literally threw away the food I was served discretely despite being incredibly hungry. Seriously, this place was such a disappointment.
If I could give 0 stars I would - waited 5 minutes before I was eventually served, and then asked for one of the pre-made sandwiches. I was told there was a minimum $10 card transaction sandwhich was $5, and when I asked if I could pay an additional amount to cover it, he said no and waved me off and then walked back out to the kitchen. Disgusting service and they only had 1 other patron in the building.
Great food from here. I remember coming from here as a picky child, angry. I didn't really care about it back then but I have recently come back as an adult and absolutely love this place. One of the many decent locations in the city where you can get locally home made food.
Home made style food. Their food has a very particular taste. It was two stars for my taste. My kids gave them four stars.
What a pleasant surprise this little place is. Wonderful friendly service and the best spanakopita we've ever tasted. Make sure you visit next time you're at or near Vic Market.
The services super friendly. Food is wonderful and value for money. A good old harty corner takeaway
Great value of fish & chips
