The Josef Chromy Cellar Door Restaurant and Winery is located at Relbia, 10 minutes from the Launceston Airport and 15 minutes from Launceston CBD in northern Tasmania.
Josef Chromy Wines’ 61-hectare (150 acre) vineyard produces a number of varieties of highly sought-after grapes, carefully crafted in our on-site winery. Wines include Sparklings, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling and Pinot Gris.

Lovely food and wine here. Was a shock when I got asked for ID and I’m 27, but felt youthful. It is a pricey, so personally would only visit on special occasions.

Very accommodating for a late booking. All the food were exquisite specially the short rib dish. It was probably the best I’ve tasted for a long time, want more if I can but have to consider the price. Wine tasting was great for $15, enough to make me tipsy. A must try restaurant if you’re in Tasmania

What a wonderful venue. Perfect for anything from a drink to a wedding.

Put this winery on your list of must see. 5 star lunch and wine. A real credit to the owners. Thoroughly recommended.

Beautiful location, probably the most picturesque winery in the region. The wine itself is very delicious and the food is good. As this is a bigger winery it is of course slightly more commercialised but nonetheless a great experience.
