NEVER AGAIN. $205 per night and the rooms are running down old bathroom with leaking taps. No room service. No breakfast. No rubbish bin or enough toilet paper. Definitely Not worth it. Rooms: Bad quality and running done never again.
Two weeks on and I am still waiting for the $200 security payment to be returned. Rang the hotel and they confirmed that I should get it back as I had not damaged anything....... think they hope I just forget about it and give up.Rooms: 2/5
I only read the reviews after making a booking, and I started getting worried. Luckily, my experience was much better than the other reviews. The room was clean and pretty good. Everything felt new...Rooms rated 5 stars. I waited 7 days to check if I got my $200 deposit back before writing this review. I got it back exactly 7 days later. It had extra amenities like cutlery and a microwave, which I dont usually get in other hotels. There were a couple of new receptionists too. One was on her first day there. Reception now seems ok. Reception opens 930 to 530 only, which is a little annoying. Room service is only done every 4th day. Which is also a bit annoying. Service rated 4 stars The location is a 15 min walk away from the shops. Which is far in this summer heat, so its not as convenient. You can take a bus though. Location rated 3 stars They seem to be aware of the negative reviews. There were signs everywhere to tell people upfront about any fees and charges. I feel they may have invested into the hotel to change its image as well. Their efforts impressed me anyway. Things seem good now but can they maintain it? The best time to go there is now. If you find good deals on other websites, dont ask the reception if they can give you those rates, the reception will just tell you to book through those websites. In conclusion, I would recommend this place, you get the same as Quest but for much cheaper. Rooms: Rooms were good.
I’m beyond disgusted with the way we were handled tonight! Management is an absolute joke. Do yourself favor do not book online with this hotel. The booking platform altered our dates from 2/3/24 to the 2/2/25 so when we went to check in we were told no such booking existed. I even called to double check the booking and closing time of reception and was told reception would be open until 5.30 as we would be coming straight after work so arriving around 4.30-5. The receptionist then told us it was closed at 2.30pm and no refund can be processed only security bond taken. We travelled 2 hours to get there and were turned away with no where to go & no refund for the two nights we had paid for. Looks like we will be sleeping in our car tonight. Thanks Joondalup hotel for your lack of empathy, I will make sure all my friends & family hear about this incident
Was told $200 security payment return 7 business days. Then was told free upgrade to superior room, wow... looked like the room had been vacant for months! Dust everywhere, cobwebs hanging above the bed as a travel agent myself was due to stay 4night however I'll be leaving for another hotel today after just 16hrs. Please check rooms prior to inviting guests also Australia has some backpackers accommodation better than this. This will not make next year's amazing planet book for Perth accommodation at this stage until changes occur. It's a shame as it's a great location and has so much potential to be a great boutique hotel in a great environment.
We’re booked this hotel for our staff. 2 rooms both mid $200 per night. On arrival at midnight there was an offensive message in Nikko on the mirror. Complained and was told they would have it sorted. Still there the next day. The two ladies had an early start at the show they were here to attend and no hot water in either room. Definitely wouldn’t recommend
Room was unclean with splatters of some sort of liquid on the walls. No condiments in the room and have to pay a $200 bond on arrival- which is acceptable apart from the fact they state it will be deposited directly back after 5-7 business days. Now they are saying call the bank to get them to release the money. This is their responsibility in my opinion. Will not be returning to this hotel.
Tried booking a room here, I had seen internet gave me a discount rate,I told receptionist who sounded 15 yrs old, about advertised price she demanded I send a screen shot of advertised price,so I did just to be told it didn't look genuine AND I have to send another screen shot of advertised price, and was told that I am being very persistent on price,I told her it's advertised at a certain sight, but she refused to look it up... I told the reception don't worry about it I will find something else.. incredibly unfriendly AND unprofessional..
Iam very suprised with the man his name Frank he is friendly , caring and helpful he professional he is always there to help the guest this man is exellent that is me Ali Bugshan from Saudi Arabai
The hotel is old and needs renovating. The room was dark and dingy and stained and not very clean. Bathroom was old and stained. Bed was very hard and uncomfortable, room furniture was inadequate, old, damaged and stained. The fridge smelled like something had previously died in it and no water provided. The windows in the room were frosted glass so minimal light and opened out onto the back alley store room. Not very appealing or appropriate at all for $200 a night - we walked out and went elsewhere. I feel the website photos are false advertising. This is a great location but the hotel owners need to up their game and renovate. We were not told at reception that the bond was $200. A much more up market, new and modern hotel round the corner only charge $100 bond. Rooms: Need renovating badly. Old, dark dingy not very clean. Nothing like the web photos. Bathroom was old and stained and a bit dubious!
