Atruck drive from John Fillmore Contracting Ltd drove into my parked car at a red light. It happened on 16th of Nov and until 22nd Nov we have not recieved any information from their insurance. Thay gave us their insurance brokers number to call and for 5 days they did not even file a claim with their insurer. The car they damaged is a BMW i8. The site manager Chris said that his company will be taking full responsibility for their mistakes and NO, every person we have been dealing with in this company is busy tossing responsibilities and nothing has been sorted yet. The claim was only lodged 6 days after the incident Amanda who apparently deals with insurance claims in their company seems to be not in the mood to do her job. Funny thing is when we called her to find out the claim number for the insurance she said "which one is yours? we had a few" clearly incidents like this happen very often with their drivers. The claim which should have been lodged Thursday was not lodged until tuesday the next week. She was not getting back to us so of course as we are in desperate needs of a car that can be used we had to call her every day to find out what is happening. Today she yelled at us saying "calling me everyday isn't going to make me do the job faster. do you want me to help you or not?!!!" Is it our fault that your driver was speeding wrecklessy through traffic? Chris the site manager did not even tell you about the incident until we called to tell you what happened the next day. My partner and I had finally had enough and asked for her manager's contact and they are refusing to pass that information. We wonder if a company that is incapable of solving their own small mistake would be one that is worth hiring. ABOVE ALL AOVID JFC TRUCKS AT ALL TIMES and YES Amanda we wanted you to help us but what you really forgot is that IT IS YOUR JOB TO DEAL WITH THIS AND IT WAS YOUR DRIVER'S FAULT THAT OUR $150,000 WORTH CAR IS DAMAGED AND AN APOLOGY WOULD HAVE BEEN GREAT. Through this whole ordeal we have yet to recieve any sort of apology from the drive or a representative of your company. I have been carless trying to get from home in Takanini to work in remuera for that past 6 days without a driveable car. This has not caused you inconvenience and therefore you have been taking your time and not caring. But for us this has caused huge issues. Amanda has told us we need to deal with our insurance company for a loan vehicle. I told her we have spoken to our insurance but because its an exotic car and there would not be a like for like vehicle to hire out there my insurance has told me to get intouch with JFCs insure to ask for what i can hire as a replacement. But all Amanda does is yell and talk over me and does not listen.
