WARNING! DO NOT BUY LA-Z-BOY SEATS HERE! If I could give less than one star, I would. I spent $4849 on la-z-boy seats, believing them to be up there with some of the best. It came with a lifetime guarantee on the mechanism…..what could go wrong? About two years later, nearly all the plastic tyres cracked or came off the rollers completely. I called the John Bradley and they put me on to their repair shop. They ordered the parts and took the chairs away for repair. It took them a month to fix from when I reported the fault. About two years later, exactly the same thing has happened again. The chairs started spitting out plastic from the rollers. We don’t use them that much and nobody in the family is overweight. I can only conclude that they are cheaply made or badly designed……or both, I’ll let you decide. I have been waiting six weeks and they haven’t even taken the chairs away for repair yet. The life time guarantee doesn’t sound so good now. I’m going to spend a lifetime fixing them! As for customer service? All I can say is, they took my $4849 quick enough,but I’m seriously disappointed in their after sales care. I can not recommend buying La-z-boy seats at John Bradley. To keep this review updated, please read on: I was told by a staff member of John Bradley, that my review was unfair. That they are a local business doing their best. Well, 13 weeks later, I am still waiting for my seats to be repaired! Two weeks ago, their repair company, Morrison Trimmings, took two of my seats away. They informed me it was just a case of phoning Brisbane for the parts and fitting them. While I understand things may not have gone to plan, I am disgusted at their customer service for not keeping me informed. So yes John Bradley, you do deserve this bad review. If you are thinking of buying a La-z-boy from John Bradley, you have been warned!
