Popular local cafe on High st. and just right next to anniversary trail. They have indoor and outdoor dinning area and also a window next to trail that can take takeaway order. Staffs were nice and friendly and more importantly coffee was fantastic!
Edited review: Re-visited Joe Frank. They were apologetic and wanted me to return as this was unusual that one of their most popular dishes was dry. On return the JF burger was very good. Plenty of sauce, the patty tasted home made and was cooked perfectly. Chips were great and sizeable. Good value meal.nnLeading me to believe they had an off day on my first visit. I had a nice mochachinno as well. Tasted good with a strong hit of chocolate, but perhaps too much chocolate that I couldn't taste the coffee. It took a while to get seated despite the booking, stood there but another customer was prioritised over me.nnOnce ordered the food came out quickly. And the outdoor deck was a warm and sheltered/buzzing atmosphere.nnIncreasing my overall and food rating from 3 to 4 stars.nnThanks for encouraging to revisit. It was worth it.nn---------nOriginal:nThe service was amazing, very warm, friendly and kept us up to date.nnFor me I think it was just a poor choice of dish. Had the pulled beef toastie. It was very dry. Not enough fats, not fully tender, no sauce or if there was not enough and I couldn't taste it. Bread could have done with butter. It was slow going eating it. Doesn't come with chips.nnThe corn fritters on the other hand were pretty good. I got to try a slice. Didn't get any coffee.
I've visited Joe Frank many times and have always been extremely pleased with their customer service. Very sweet and welcoming people, who are fast and efficient workers! Food is pretty good, however the drinks are excellent.
