A nice place to eat and drink, tucked away in what is otherwise is very small town. Pizzas were hot and fresh although a little thick for woodfired. Clean facilities too. Would definitely recommend if you're passing by to/from Launceston!
A good stopover if your heading to or from Launceston. They served breakfast until 11AM, and can order pizza by then. Friendly service and enjoyed my breakfast!!!
Was searching hard for a place for dinner in the sleepy town of Scottsdale and found this cafe after walking from end of George Street to this area. Friendly staff and nice food Ordered scallops and bacon kebab and it's out of the world! Didn't spend much time in the cafe as it was a take away but first impression about this cafe was it's serve great food in this town. Highly recommended.
We spent a few days in the area and had dinner at JoDonny's both nights. The pizza's were great but the chicken burgers less so.
My husband and I had a great evening meal. Pleasant and friendly staff. The jacket potatoes are delicious as well as the steak sandwiches and chips. Great coffee too! All reasonably priced. We went back again next morning for the egg and bacon rolls and they were delicious too for just $6 each.
A simple looking cafe with delicious food. Try the barramundi with lemon pepper butter sauce.. yummy
Little surprise gem! We ordered the Angus Burger, Cheeseburger, steak sandwich and the chicken salad. All of them were excellent. Very fresh and made to order!
Great prompt service in a cute little town. Yummy Big breakfast was delicious and big, eggs benedict nice too.
Service was slow; it took just under an hour from ordering our meal to having 2 out of the 3 orders brought to our table. Mrs H. told my daughter that her order had been given to someone else, so they'll cook another one. No apology from her. Mr H later offered my daughter a drink. The teenager who took the order was the only staff member to actually apologise. He was a nice kid, and I felt sorry for him. No, I will not be returning for an evening meal there. The takeaway meals were doing a rip-roaring trade, btw, so if we decide to have food from there again - we live locally - it will definitely be takeaway.
Pizzas were amazing but Nachos were really poor. No real flavour asked for chilli and none in meal. Avocado was bitter and inedible and sour cream low quality. Nothing Mexican about it.
