I have been going to Jissara Hair since moving to the Kensington area 13 years ago.  I have always received friendly and professional service there. I wouldn’t get my hair cut and coloured anywhere else, Kelly is the best!!

Highly recommended! You must try this salon. Great, friendly, knowledgeable staff. I have had so many people comment on my fabulous new hair do. My hair is usually hard to colour, but the staff here transformed me with ease! I LOVE IT!! Thank you so much! My first time here and I’ll definitely not go anywhere else now. And they have a great product range- they didn’t try to sell me the most expensive products- I found their advice genuinely knowledgeable about the products they sell & matched my needs perfectly! I live over an hour away, so in between visits I’ll now be able to buy their products online. Very, very impressed with this salon and the staff. Thanks again and see you soon!

I was due for a haircut and having recently moved to Kensington I was really nervous about switching to a new hairstylist. My boyfriend recommended Jissara as he is a regular at the salon and I couldn't have been more happier with the end result. Would definitely recommend Cassandra if you're looking for a haircut. or an awesome blow wave : She was extremely patient and took the time to discuss what style worked best for my hair type. For the first time in a long time I'm really happy with a hairdressing salon. They knew what they were doing and really cared about my hair. Which makes me happy. For the price I paid I walked out feeling really satisfied. I will be back and will be recommending them to my friends.

I was in desperate need of a hair cut but had been putting it off due to developing some anxieties around it. Cass completly put me at ease with her knowledge around curly hair and did an amazing job! I've never had short hair before and I am so happy with the change!

Horrible service, been coming here for a while and one time the colour didn't take at all, I was obviously unhappy with the results and they offered to do it again hesitantly.  So again I sat thru another couple hours of getting my hair done while hairdresser wanted to leave urgently. And again I got the same result it looked horrible. I was treated like it was my fault and like I was a head case or something. I'd been coming here for years! I'd done nothing different to my hair so results should have been the same as usual. Very disappointed in how I was treated. Then was very pissed when I asked for a refund....like really? I had to sit through hours and hours of bleaching to get the same ugly regrowth still showing! Not my fault at all! I'm not paying to have my time wasted! Go down the street a little bit further they are fantastic and really care about you, and no kids running around constantly!

I showed up at the salon with a picture of funky short hairstyle I wanted - a very brave number with the undercut. I have walked out super satisfied!!! The cut is immaculate and colour exactly what I wanted   Very happy customer here, been going to Kelly for nearly 3 years now and she never let me down! Highly recommend

The salon itself and the staff are wonderful. I'll start by noting the friendly hairdresser and her good advice on styles for my face/hair type which I appreciated. What I'm unhappy with was the rushed finish to end up with frizzy, sticky hair that looks like I blow dried it at home. Paying $75 for a wash cut and blow wave I would expect to have a well finished look instead of looking like my hair had dried just out of the shower.  I asked for volume and waves which on long hair is easy and ended up with flat, flicky, half dried hair with a fair amount of product in it I couldn't run my fingers through it. I appreciate i came in as a walk in client but if there isn't time to fit me in I'd rather be turned away and come back another time.
