Absolutely delicious meal. One of the most tender and enjoyable Massaman beef curries we have ever had. Can't wait to go back...
David and his team never fail to deliver quality food and service with some friendly banter. Meals are served quickly, hot and fresh, the taste is amazing. Have visited a couple of times recently and the meals are consistent everytime, the chef never has a bad day.
I’m obsessed with this restaurant. The food is so bloody delicious. I stayed n KV for 3 nights and had dinner here 2 nights. The food is full of flavour. The only restaurant where they understand “hot chillies” dishes. Prices are reasonable. And food is served with warm service. Very cosy ambience. The owner very attentive and friendly. So are other beautiful female staffs. The chef does god’s work! Very highly recommended.
I wish I could rate higher than 5 stars. What an amazing dinner we had here! The staff were so accommodating, and the food was incredible. I have not had a full course meal as good as this for a long time. If you are in the area, make sure this is on your list of places to visit.
I was impressed with this hidden gem, nestled at the back of other shops you almost don't see it straight away. As soon as we stepped in the door the owner greeted us with friendly banter and took us to our table. There are a number of artist pieces around the restaurant to view, appreciate or judge. I wasn't sure how the food would be with non-Thai front of house staff, but the food was amazing! It seemed fresh and had plenty of flavour. Satay chicken skewers for entree - juicy and tender highly recommended; Massaman Beef and also ginger and mushroom chicken for mains - great taste both good choices. Wine and beer choices were fine, enough to cover everyone's tastes. I will definitely go back again when visiting KV!
Food was exquisite. We had the prawn salad, red duck curry and sticky date puddings that came out absolutely swimming in delicious sauce *yummo* Service was a little slow it was a busy Saturday night, but not too slow. Beautiful artwork on the wall for sale from local photographers and artists too.
Awful experience. They open at 5pm. I came in at 5.13pm on a Wednesday. The sign says open. There is no one inside, except 3 waitresses standing around talking together. It is a big place with additional outside seating. The owner greets me and says they're fully booked, contrary to the empty space. This is a stark contrast to the Indian restaurant up the road, Valley's Curry House, run by lovely, welcoming people, whose food is delectable.
Fantastic food. I was a walkin with a dog and they were happy to set up a table outside for me even though they were so busy. Thank you guys
This was our second visit to this cosy restaurant in Kangaroo Valley - did not disappoint! Authentic and tasty Thai cuisine and friendly, exceptional service. I highly recommend this place!
If you’re looking for authentic Thai cuisine, this is not the place for you. The food is very western, with the Thai flavours non existent. We had the satay chicken skewers for entree. The chicken was cooked well, but the satay had no spice and resembled heated up peanut butter out of a jar. Mains were Prik Thai prawns with snow peas and green chicken curry, with both lacking any flavour. The prawn dish had no Thai flavours, and only a little oil, garlic and soy. For around $27, the dish was also a poor serving size. As for the green curry, it wasn’t even green, indicating the paste was out of a tin not fresh. Additionally, there were no Thai eggplants, bamboo shoots, or fresh herbs, but disturbingly there were frozen green peas! If you want something to eat that has flavour, you’d be better off getting some pub food, or a toastie at Hampden Deli
