Terrible service. Waiter took 5 minutes to get us our menu, 15 minutes to take our order. Order was completely different from the description and we re-ordered another set to ensure it was what we wanted and it was completely wrong again! And have a look at what they call Agaedashi tofu and change $7 for it. Do not even bother to try!

Terrible food, too salty, only 2 pieces of chicken slices, half piece of boiled egg and some seaweeds floating on the ramen, wait, was that a ramen i had ordered? poor customer servicethe chinese guy is only on his phone, he doesn't know everything even giving recommendation

It’s the worse Japanese restaurant I’ve been to. We’ve ordered ramen, it taste like cooked in the water. The fried chicken was too fat and made us sick with only one bite. They also put the wrong order although we order the food by using the numbers on the menu as we don’t speak Japanese. It’s was a horrible experience. Will never return again.

Bad environment. The fry noodle is extremely salty and sweet. Salmon sashimi is not fresh. The texture is not solid and taste like being refrigerated for months. The boss here is so stingy and refuse to give us some mayonnaise. Horrible experience overall. Recommend to try the ramen next door.

Google reviews aren't always accurate, but ignore this one at your own peril. We were in a rush and looked for a quick bite with no expectations, but still managed to be disappointed. Portions were so tiny they can't feed a small Asian person. Even the tap water was bad not kidding. I ordered the pork mince tantan ramen, expecting there to be more than a single nibble of pork mince. It fused Chinese tantan noodles and ramen together and was miserable on both fronts. Watered down ramen soup, is a bad combination with tantan noodles, which are supposed to be dry. I supposed I should've seen the warning signs then. We also had the chicken curry don, bland, which is difficult considering its curry. Chicken was burnt on the outside cold on the inside, another achievement. Fried tako octopus, salty as. Devastating waste of money.

Terrible service. I ordered beef, but I got chicken. The staff said I made the wrong order but I am 100% sure that I didn’t order the wrong dish I pointed the beef picture to him when I ordered it. The dishes taste are terrible as well. My friend’s pork not well-cooked He saw the blood. My meat was over-cooked, dry and sesaming not good. We have very unpleasant experience to this restaurant. Worst ever.

Authentic, polite and friendly : Ramen came out very hot but that's a good thing most of the time and i came assume an odd hour. Good menu and many imported Japanese options for drinks, beers and wine. Will try again later I trip to see rest of menu!

The slow service could be forgiven if the food was good, but it was terrible. It's hard to mess up a curry and rice, but they succeeded. Greasy chicken with rubbery skin topped with a splash of watery, flavorless soup. The rice was the only nice thing about it.

We were first attrracted by this pedestrian street which is full of asian restarants and where you can seat outside. The Jigen restaurant looked very busy but we could get a table quickly. I really liked that we were told before seating that it could nay be take some time to get served because they had a lot of orders, very honest! No problem we could wait and have a nice Suntory beer, Edamame and some fried squid. Our daughter could have her Miso soup and rice straight away as well. Everybody happy. The chachu miso ramen that I ordered was at my taste. Not too salty. The service was good and caring.

The worst japanese restaurant in Gold coast. Oil for tempura was suck and have been used long time. A waiter couldn’t speak english well also didn’t have good attitude. Dishes were salty, please do not order any fri-menu.
