EVERYTHING YOU'D WANT IN A JEWELER! From my first contact with James Thredgold Jeweller it has been an amazing experience. I was searching for a custom engagement ring to be made in Adelaide their response time was phenomenal, the service was extremely professional and friendly. A big thank you to Elisse for everything she has done to help make our vision become reality. She assisted us every step of the way from finding the right stones and shapes for our design. I found it difficult to find time to make into store. However, Elisse was extremely accommodating and made the process simple with only a few visits and the rest via email. I would also like to thank Jess, as when we were finally able to make it in to the store she assisted with the extra design ideas, stones sizing and band choices. Her design skills were fantastic and made us confident we had made the right choice. Thank you to the talented jewellers for making the gorgeous engagement ring that now sits on my fiances finger with a smile everyday. We will be returning to have our wedding rings made with them. I could not recommend them any more highly.
Overall experience was amazing. My fiance loves her ring and James was incredibly helpful and understanding from the first appointment. Derek was great as well in adjusting the size of the ring twice for it to fit perfectly. A huge thank you from the both of us, we could not be happier with the ring and experience. We look forward to creating our wedding bands with JT jewellers.
Partner went in for a ring sizing to give me a general idea what size ring I should get her. Staff member was rude and condescending, and did not offer any assistance, with the insinuation that if I'm not getting the ring from them they won't give a size. A polite, "Sorry, we're only comfortable giving a ring size for our own stock", would have sufficed rather than a condescending lecture. Well at least I now know, I won't be headed here to buy her a ring, thank you for assisting me with making that decision.

I’m sad to leave a poor review as some of the staff were really nice and a pleasure to work with, but I had an awful experience with James Thredgold Jewelers. They reset my engagement ring for me. I had e-mailed examples of what I wanted, so had a solid understanding of what I wanted. They knew well in advance the day of my wedding, it was finished 2 days before. It didn’t look like the examples I had provided. They told me to wear it for the wedding and bring back after to modify - so all the pictures of “my ring” aren’t actually my ring. I brought it back to adjust, offered more examples and detailed what would need to be done. I was originally told 2 weeks but was led on by 4 more weeks. It would have been fine if they told me 6 weeks from the start, but instead they continually got my hopes up just to let me down again. Finally, I went in to pick it up - and it was even less like the examples. The staff said, “this isn’t what you were going for, I don’t know why they did that, you’ll have to come back tomorrow to discuss”. I was told 3-4 days, but as I unfortunately expected, it wasn’t done for another 2 weeks. Ultimately, My ring was okay still not like the examples, but I was over the fight it was just terribly frustrating that it took 5 months, 8 visits and countless calls to get the end result.
Exceptional service and a genuine approach to making the perfect ring for my fiancé. The attention to detail exhibited by James and his team resulted in a high quality ring that I am extremely proud of. Thank you for a flawless experience, from start to finish.

WOW! Now that was service. I have been searching for a particular Tag Heuer watch for some time now and I found it on the James Thredgold website. I e-mail the company, Derek replied within the day, the next day a purchased the watch and within 24 hours it had been delivered to my home. From Norwood SA to Central Vic within 24 hours. I was nervous about the transaction, but Derek was fantastic. He answered all my questions, provided a tracking number so I could follow the parcels journey and followed up to ensure it has arrived safely. When it comes to beautiful time pieces I wouldn't trust anyone other than James Thredgold Jewellers. Not only did they fid and deliver a new bracelet within 48 hours, upon collection found it had been cleaned and polished from top to toe. That's service. A shout out to the lovely Elisse who kept me up to date every step of the way.
My experiences with Derek from James Thredgold Jewellers was amazing. My eternity ring was designed and manufactured by Derek. He worked with me through the design process and listened to what I wanted. The result is stunning! It is the most beautiful ring and I love that I can admire it everyday.
