Outstanding service from the friendly cabin crew. Paying in excess of $400 for a domestic flight is not OK, though. Meal voucher didn't buy much in way of GF food. But overall, a good experience and, as a bonus, we left and arrived on time.
Thanks for cancelling flight 2 hours after proposed departure. Currently in line waiting for accommodation but not looking like we will be served for hours. Great end to a holiday. :
Look, it's an "afterthought, budget, add-on" terminal for wearers of hi-viz. Always clean, some foods etc but not always open. It does what it has to at a bit higher level than regional terminals. Staff are always awesome.
To be honest ,we thought there would be staff at the airport prior to two hrs from scheduled departure. The check in machines only two of the three worked and so a long line of passengers developed quite quickly, not a great start to a holiday. Once on board ,no option to charge devices through USB outlet. Overall not a bad experience.
If I could give 0 stars I would. Do not fly with Jetstar. I would rather pay double with another airline next time. Our flight got cancelled 2 weeks in advance and moved to a day before. Then we arrived at the airport, checked our luggage in and went through security. The 50 other passengers sat in the terminal all found out that it was cancelled 2 HOURS before it was supposed to leave. We then had to wait in airport for over an hour before being able to leave and were moved onto the flight the same time the following day…. To the date we originally had booked months before!!! This has ruined many of our travel plans.
Constantly cancel flights and change times. Impossible to get your money back only credits for a rubbish airline. If you have to book another flight to get home it costs far more than the original. Save yourself time and stress... DON'T FLY WITH THEM.
The flight was slightly delayed... however the ground staff were simply good. As I asked for the wheel chair assistant, they were very kind. It was a service with respect, care and a smile. Kudos to Jetstar Staff
Bought a meal before the flight, and in the flight they rejected to give it to me. After complaining, it's been almost 1 month ago and they keep asking me details of my flight to "investigate" what happened. Minions working here.
The worst airport/airline experience of my life. And I've been to over 40 countries and been to the same cou tries multiple times, so that's a lot of airports and flights. And this was hands down, the worst. The flight kept getting delayed.. And then after 7 hours late they then said the issue couldn't be fixed so they're getting another aircraft. By the time this aircraft was ready, we were told its cancelled as the crew were then out of hours. I then got told we could claim the food back with a receipt, howvere I'd ordered food a couple hours earlier, not knowing we could get a refund, and not kept the receipt. What followed was disastrous. No member of staff knew what was happening, it seemed no one was in charge. Staff were telling me one thing and other people a completely different thing with regards to how we get another flight. One minute we were all waiting a text, then it was an email, then they just booked us all onto a flight the next day. So no one had a clue. That said, we were told we could stay in a hotel for up to 150 aud we could claim it back. I couldn't find anything cheaper than 170aud.. And I also had to pay an uber there and back and couldn't claim that. I also missed the women's semi final of the Australian Open which I had tickets for. The next day, after the embarrassment, you'd assume that the boss would have said, whatever happens today, this flight leaves on time.. Well no, this was delayed an hour and a half. Something to do with a tug not being available, and then the catering team were on another aircraft then were coming to clean and re supply ours after that one. re supply... so we got on and taken off.. I got asked if I would like food and or drink, I said yes. However, they hadn't been supplied any lunch. No toasties, sandwiches, Wraps, meals, curries. All they had was noodles, nuts, cheese, sweets. And it was lunch time. So I opted for noodles. I've never tasted anything so bad, I couldn't eat them. And I found some hard bone like object in there. It was a disaster. I will never fly with this airline again.
This airline . Is a disgrace theres actually too many negative things to say . Had a flight delayed got an hour . Then another 3 hrs without notification via text or email . Easter Saturday . Young families waiting around a gate at 12.15 am to be told now its cancelled . One person on the desk to handle all inquires . The whole plane . They offered another flight 22 hours later . Those poor kids and parents . Staff could not care less . They don’t want to be working for the airline either . Why would you .
