Came here shortly after moving to Adelaide and it was an absolute 10/10 experience. We ordered a croque monsieur, caramel Basque cheesecake, lemon cheesecake, chocolate raspberry brownie, and a coffee. Everything was absolutely superb. All the staff were lovely and attentive and couldn’t have made the experience better. I will be coming back many times
Enjoyed freshly baked croissants with a variety of delicious toppings. Fair price, paired with coffee, it made for a perfect start to the day.
Been twice here while holiday in Adelaide . Coffee is good, pastries nice too, but always crowded so service can be not friendly. But overall a nice experience, recommend to try this cafe in norwood Adelaide
I recently visited Jenny’s Bakery in Norwood, and I must say it’s a delightful addition to the neighborhood. I arrived just after they opened at 7:30 am, and unlike busier times, it was pleasantly quiet.nnJenny’s Bakery is a charming little cafe with showcases brimming with a wide array of delicious sweet and savory items. Their croissants are particularly noteworthy, famous not just with patrons but also bought for resale by other cafes. The variety of savory treats available is also impressive, catering to different tastes and preferences.nnThe staff were friendly and efficient, adding to the overall positive experience. My chai latte was made perfectly, served at the ideal temperature. When the cafe gets busy, they have an efficient ticketing system in place. You simply take a ticket from the machine, and you'll be served in order, ensuring a smooth experience even during peak times.nnJenny’s Bakery is a must-visit cafe in Norwood. Whether you're stopping by for a quick breakfast or a leisurely coffee break seating looks a bit uncomfortable, or to grab a quick coffee and a snack on the go it’s sure to become a favorite spot.
Located off The Parade & inside a Mall, quite hidden if you weren’t specially looking for it as it’s not on the main road. Lovely bright clean location with a small amount of seating. They do a variety of focaccias, rolls etc & toasted them hot if requested. I was only here for pastries so didn’t try. Like it’s originator, there are NO PRICES on a plethora of displayed items which makes it difficult for those to decide to order for a family if it was a special occasion as I’m sure many are on a budget. I grabbed a receipt just to see what pricing looks like: Biscoff Cookies $5.80, filled doughnuts $5.80, pain au chocolat $6.50, PB & jam croissant danish $5.80 & pistachio custard filled almond croissant $9.50. Overall prices are quite good as the pastries are a decent size. The PB danish & pain au chocolat were our favourites as they remained fresh & crisp. Donut was a bit dry. Cookie wasn’t too special apart from it being huge & dense, it was too sweet for our taste buds & didn’t give the hit of Biscoff flavour. No eftpos surcharge which is a ++
