There are certainly a lot of sweets and some savoury items to choose from. I had the mango Danish and a cappuccino. The Danish was a bit hard to cut with a knife, but the outside was crunchy with a light custard inside. I prefer my custard a bit thicker, but overall, it was quite tasty. Sadly, I found the coffee a bit disappointing. Good to see that they don't charge a fee when paying by card.nStaff are friendly, and there is plenty of indoor seating available. I was surprised to see that there is only one toilet at the rear of the business, which really isn't sufficient in my view.
Fantastic variety of pastries! Wish they had the Dubai chocolate croissant when we were there this morning - had been looking forward to it when driving to Adelaide.nWe got the pistachio cream croissant and the crookie instead. The pastry was still really crispy and tasted freshly delicious after several hours in the car.nStaff were friendly and helpful with the different selection of pastry too. Cafe looked cosy but we had to do takeaway.nHighly recommended it!
Lovely bakery with an astounding range of sweet and savourysorry missed photo of savoury. Take a ticket when you arrive but before you know it they are serving you.nnCookiewarm and ice cream is yumm and lovely quiche. Extensive rolls and pizza that I will have to slowly try as we revisit.
This bakery is clearly a local favourite, especially for its sweet baked goods. I tried the matcha pastry, which had a pandan/kaya-style filling—crispy on the outside and very enjoyable. The croissant layers were wonderfully crunchy. However, the filling in the standard meat pie was a bit too dry for my taste. I’ll definitely be back to explore more of their sweet pastries!
3.5 stars overalls.nnThey open at 7am which is nice. Service is solid. I got a few items chocolate croissant, white bueno croissants and passionfruit donut.nnChocolate Croissant: good product. I want even more chocolate inside to eat. Maybe it could be a little more flaky.nnWhite Bueno Croissant: tasty and of course ok the sweet side. It was good. Cream can leak out so be careful and don't get yourself messy nnPassionfruit Donut: TBD as I'll try this later tonight.nnLots of items to pick from and no shortage of things to try. There was a blueberry donut that also looks very good.nnDrink options were plenty. I wish they did fresh orange juice to go. Especially being a non-coffee drinker.
