Zero for customer service at thee most hidden away store.nnFriday night, the store was absolutely deserted. Ghost town.nnNo one greeting, no one assisting, just groups of teenage-staff on their iphones, huddled behind a counter at the very back of the store, or observed smoking in the carpark and wandering off on casual toilet breaks.nnOn a mission, I walked 4 laps of the store, not one offer of assistance.nnFailing to find a few items I needed and anyone willing to assist, I conveniently took advantage of the in-store Macs to search the JB-HiFi website, googled my own tech enquiry, checked prices and found which stores had certain goods in-stock for purchase and/or click-and-collect.nnJust bizarre.nnI’d understand if they were run off their feet but 6-7 staff to 1 ignored customernn….. tumbleweeds….
This JB Hi-Fi location stands out as one of the best in the east/southeast Melbourne area. It offers direct access from the car park, making it incredibly convenient. The store is less crowded compared to other locations, allowing for a more relaxed shopping experience. What’s even better is their consistent availability of items – I’ve never faced disappointment here. Highly recommend this store for its accessibility, excellent stock levels, and hassle-free experience!
Purchased a computer monitor which had to be transferred in from Brighton store. It took two weeks for it to arrive in for what should have been a 20 minute drive. Worst part is that there was ZERO communication from the store about it. I could have easily driven there had I of known it would take this long. I called twice and was told they’ve had to source it from another store as Brighton had ‘dropped the ball.’ The lack of proactivity in informing of what was happening is what gets my one star. I get that things happen and businesses get busy, but in a world of technology which JB says it leads I don’t get how you can’t send a text message or ideally somebody call me to inform me what is going on.
Spiro from JB HI-FI Camberwell gave the best and loveliest customer service when I went into that store. Spiro was very attentive and helpful and went above and beyond with his customer service. I had a terrible experience with 2 other jb hi-fi stores before coming to Camberwell but Spiro turned a disappointing experience into a really great one. He didn’t stop assisting me with help until we got the best outcome to the situation and saved me the trouble of running around to different stores. Spiro also gave me a very kind and generous discount on both of my products which he didn’t need to do but I appreciate it a lot! Thank you again Spiro!
Horrible experience with jb. They had one job which was to let me know when my laptop is ready for collection and I handed it in to them 4th of December and they said it would take two weeks. Towards the end of December I contacted them and they said that it was still on his way then after New Year’s on the 2nd I called them again and turns out that the laptop has arrived since 13th of December. Then I came to collect it today and my laptop had short hair inside and dust and it was just so dirty. mind you I did pre-clean a little bit before hand and they returned it back to me in such an disgusting state and also telling me that there was nothing wrong with my Laptop, so they did nothing about it And then JB tried to do But didn’t do anything about it as well.What an awful experience!
