Went in to try and return a $119 dual battery isolator in excellent condition still in packaging, unopened, etc, with receipt in hand and card it was purchased on. I had not realised there was a 7 day returns policy, and I was 3 days over. If I had realised the return policy, I would have returned it within the 7 days. I’m located in the Barossa Valley, so getting down also takes quite a while I was in the area for something today, so instead of going to the Elizabeth store, this one was more convenient. I understand there is a policy, however I have also worked in both hospitality, retail and now as a helicopter pilot, and I believe for such a small thing that really doesn’t affect the company in a major way and being polite about the return, customer satisfaction can override company policy. The woman who served me was very stern and not considerate whatsoever and basically enjoyed the power trip of denying the refund. I then contacted two other stores Port Adelaide and Elizabeth and they both were happy to process the refund for me. I try and be as nice and accommodating as possible to everyone, no matter who they are or what the situation is; the lady who served me needs to learn a few more customer service skills and perhaps chat to the far more professional and understanding team members at other stores. Safe to say her attitude left me with a bad taste in my mouth unfortunately. Not impressed.
5-20V 87W Laptop Power Supply with 2 x USB-C PD3.0 and 2 x USB-A QC3.0 this product malfunctions after two months of use then destroys any phone or laptop plugged in to it the memory goes corrupt in it an suddenly puts out only 20 Volt's it is a high fire risk don't buy this product unless you want your home to burn down Jaycar please recall this product before the ACCC make's you
I bought the wrong product and came in to return it, I let them know the issue and Toban I believe his name was informed me of the correct product that would work for what I wanted. He was knowledgeable and educated me on what I needed, polite and refunded me for the original product I bought. Very happy with the service I received. Would recommend.

All smiles when I purchased. When I tried to a return they said 7 days only. I had been interstate and then iso with COVID. No consideration for my circumstances. Jaycar you have lost a customer for life for $12.95!
Apparently Jaycar are the police now.. Or so Manager Chris at Clovelly Park seems to think, my medical exemption is private information that's none of your business thanks. Your refusal of service is just discrimination.
Super helpful staff, thank you for making my emergency drop-in so easy and quick on Christmas Eve! The gentleman knew exactly the item I was after, to replace a satellite cable for tv kids use… phew! I meant to say have a lovely Christmas fellas on the way out, and thanks again
The customer service from Levi at the Jaycar Clovelly Park store, has been sensational. He took the time to understand the purposes I needed an inverter for and worked out which was was the best product for value and use. Additionally, Levi has assisted me get everything I required to install the unit in the tray of my ute and answered every question I had along the way. Thank you Jaycar, and especially Levi!!!
I was treated very disrespectfully by a staff member at this store. He refused to show me his badge/staff I.D when I mentioned I will review my experience. He said his I.D was Operator 4393 however I am unsure if that is true. He showed a lack of common sense and next to zero courtesy/respect when dealing with a customer. Disappointed by Jaycar’s staff training methods and by Jaycar’s staff. I recommend people shop elsewhere.
