Super happy with the service recieved. Had issues with my cruise control and didn't want to drive back to Canberra with out having it repaired. They had me booked in the week l was visiting, contacted me to notify they had located the issue and how much it would cost. My cruise control worked perfectly on my drive home.
My repair was handled by Mr.Khalil Al Fengan on July 1st 2020, which was for an air bag light which no local mechanic could recognize. Within the day i was given a call to say they couldn't find an issue and they would do a further investigation. Right next day I simply got a call saying they found the issue and solved it. Price was good, service was excellent. Customer care was superb! Highly recommended!!!
Great advice but car wasn't taken in until half an hour after the time allotted. They had 2 globes to change they did find another but still charged the same price. As the wire wasn't working to one they could have advised me of a price to fix it so I could've made an informed decision there and then.
I had my car serviced here and was disappointed and angry. I booked in due to a battery issue my car could not even start, I booked in and spoke to a representative who said they would replace it or get Volkswagen to under new car warranty and the car would be ready for pickup at 5. At 4:30pm I received a call requesting permission to do extra work on the car totalling $900 which I declined and was told the battery and standard service were completed so I came and paid my service fee and was told the battery the sole reason I booked in was not fixed and would have to be fixed tomorrow at Volkswagen and was given the time and address to drop my car at as a full time worker I had to get my partner to follow me to the location with his vehicle so I could get to work and once arriving at the location was told they did not do any work on cars and I had to drive to a different place 30 minutes away while driving there I called Volkswagen to confirm and advise I would be late due to being given the wrong address at which time they told me there was no booking for me that day and it was meant to have been repaired at that site the day before so I was an hour and a half late to work due to this still with a car that could not start. Worst experience ever and the people at Jarvis Hillcrest spoke to me as if I was a child that didn’t know anything about cars and how they work and almost wrecked my alternator. Extremely upset at this as I wasted my time my partners time and affected my job as I had to be late multiple days due to this. Would not recommend this place to anyone.
I dont know where did they find this people like that GOOD and how can someone be customer orientated like that where all is about customer being happy and all that with a smile. BEST OF THE BEST
Friendly as well as timely service. Left them with a car with absolutely clean windows and after they apparently cleaned it they were filthy. So many evaporated water droplets, smudge marks and general dirtiness. If you bring your clean car in for a service be sure to ask them not to give it a 'wash'. I'm not trying to be too critical but it baffles me that they would see freshly cleaned windows and then do a horrible job and make them worse. Aside from that, the service on the car was reasonable.
Unfortunately they stuffed up our service. They are nice people, however I think they might not be very experienced. We had a wheel alignment done and it was wrong. So I rang them and they said to bring it back in. I brought it back in and they said everything was fine, but when I jumped back in the car the steering was very very loose. So they obviously changed something but didn't tell me. I was worried so I rang them about it and they said to get RAA out if I was worried. So I thought I've spent enough time on this maybe I just need to trust them. Three months later the front two wheels were all worn down on the outside of the tyres. I rang them about it and they said to bring it in to have a look. They check the wheel alignment and said it was WAY out. So they fixed it. In the meantime I had to replace the tyres and asked if they would pay for the replacement but they said no. The tires were brand new before the wheel alignment so I rang head office to tell them what was going on. Within 30 minutes they called to try and meet us half way. Lucky I did speak up from the beginning so that they had to admitted to their mistake. I said I would think about it and get back to them. I haven't spoken to them since. This was about three months ago. Nice people but I wouldn't risk it - especially if you have a new car like us. Hi Mel, thanks for reaching out. However, I tried to contact you three months. You were in a meeting so I left a message with one of your employees and you never called me back. I know you got the message because you called the car yard. I think it would have been best to deal with the issue then when it was fresh but we have moved on now.
There were difficulties with getting a loan car as I forgot to take my.licence with me...they are expensive anyway as they cost $39 to cover the excess for insurance and often times you only have the loan car for a couple of hours so realistically they are hire cars. Anyway...it ended up that I couldn't u as e the loan/hire care that day. I was lucky enough to get a ride home after being told that where I lived was too far away and that I could only be taken as far as TTplaza when I live a good 10 ks away from there. The person who was driving said that he would take me home. I then had to mess around to find someone to take me to pick.my car up when it was finished and the rest of the day was mucked up because I had no transport. I have entered into a contract with Ford Jarvis when I purchased my car. I have to get it serviced either every 10000 kilometres or every 6 months which in this year old 2020 I have only done 3 or 4 thousand kilometres between services if that...to me that isn't a good deal but if I dont do this I lose my extra warranty that I.purchased....so overall at this time I am not feeling overly impressed with Jarvis and have considered selling this car so that I can get out of this less than impressive deal.
Mr Simon is a GEM. I brought my ASX for servicing this morning & I explained him that i need to bring my child to clinic. So it would be much appreciated if servicing could be expedite if possible. He was very professional & polite. Offers coffee & check with waiting customers if Aircone was too cold. That’s the customer service from the heart. Very happy.....
Everything was easy. Service was great. And car was finished on time and washed and cleaned and felt like new. Highly recommended to go there for anything to do with cars.
