Fantastic ramen! Great service and I thought this letter is very sweet. Definitely will come back again, we enjoyed our lunch very much.

I don’t know why it’s taken me so long to try this place. I love the spot, looking down on King St. The booths at the windows are the prime position. You order via tablet which is fun and the food came out so fast, like we got our kingfish sashimi tacos in less than 2 minutes. Really fresh food and attentive service.

When traveling still seems impossible for the foreseeable future, having dinner at Shinmachi was like being in Tokyo for the evening. We arrived without booking but got a table quickly. We ordered sushis, sashimi with sake and all was delicious. Friendly staff and fast service, for a very good price.

Best vegan ramen in Sydney! Complex rich developed flavours!  Serving size is a bit smaller than typical bowls  but it’s still so delicious!!

Very good Japanese food. Newtowns best. Love the tablet ordering. Not the best menu selection however.

According to their sweet little poster they have a new menu and all new team. Still my favoured Japanese food in Australia

Been here a couple of times, tried many of the little tapas style dishes and absolutely everything was delicious.  Recommended for the food and snug little booths they have with great views of King St.
