Jandakot airport has changed very little since 1967. Ok, one parallel runway extra. Still a very busy secondary airport, however despite the abundance of training aircraft movements, nothing is open. Not even a coffee shop.
Easy access, great to fly out from Royal Aero Club WA
The public viewing area is a great place to take the kids for some free entertainment. Public toilets and a cafe are there aswell
it has cool plane that go zoom and bruuuuum.
Very nice place to view and picnic. Well worth a visit.
Brilliant they have a grassed area with picnic tables and you can get a snack or lunch at the nearby Cafe and sit and watch the aircraft take off and land first visited this place in 1979 and it much bigger than it was back then
A great airport with an easy approach for student pilots, Jandakot airport is electric aircraft friendly with a charge station on the Northern Apron at Cloud Dancer Pilot Training. There is also a full time electric trainer aircraft and demonstrator available for student pilots and for recreational hire. There are heaps of other great aviation services on the aprons too.

The viewing area is pretty good. Could do with a bit of upkeep outside of the fenced area so you can see the aircraft parked and taxiiing to the north. Views over the runways are great.
The covid testing facility is inside the terminal, so you MUST enter the car park. This place is a RIP OFF. A minute less than half an hour costed $9. The parking authority there is sick from acute greediness syndrome, and needs an urgent treatment! No 0 stars to express my experience better, so have one! - hope you people choke on it.
