This is a relaxing place to have dinner. Although she was very busy, the waitress always made us feel welcomed. She is probably the best waitress in Perth! The size of the meals here is generous and tasty. The dishes seems to be reasonably priced too. The specials are especially good value. We loved the steak and the veal. We also had pasta which were also nice. I wished they had a seafood pasta marinara. Perhaps they can add that option in the future. This cafe is good for a relaxing dinner with the family. Perhaps they can consider adding a kids menu so that there are smaller sized dishes for the little ones.
Today had a wonderful cappuccino at Jamocca Restaurant in Noranda Perth Western Australia. Delicious.
Service started off well, breakfast came out cold, poached eggs over cooked then found a hair in my food and let the staff know who couldn’t see it and I had to pick it up with a fork, which she then took the fork away to the male owner. 5 minutes later he comes over with the fork and asks me ‘where is the hair’ which I had to pick off the fork and give to him and he storm’s off mumbling loudly in a foreign language to the kitchen. A few minutes later the female owner comes over and asks me what the problem is which I had to explain about the hair which she made me feel like I was lying then asked if I wanted another meal which I said no. When someone spoke to her and mentioned that no one apologised she got very defensive. We were a table of 6 and no one’s meal came out hot. Very poor service, food and manners. Stay away.
Ordered coffee, milkshakes and cakes dine in, received in take away packaging with no spoons ect. Possibly worst banana milkshake I have ever tasted... too much syrup made it unbearable to drink. Overpriced for the less than average experience we received.
'Terrible Food and Horrible Chef' Took three attempts before an order could be placed as they were out of stock and unable to alter meals due to food allergies. Owner/cook approaches our table in a confrontational manner after he seen food left on plates Sausage was off, so of course we didn't eat it. He rudely attempts to educate us on the food that we already know about He continues yelling in the kitchen then brings out the vac pack sausages to shove in our face and attempts to continue his argument This place and location deserves better owners with 'actual' customer service skills and most importantly an understanding of the food hygiene standards.
When we arrived, we ordered 2 drinks and 2 cakes. The lady directed us to a table that was not cleaned. Soon after the cakes arrived and the lady did not comment about the table being dirty and placed our cakes onto the mess. We had to use the tissues that they gave us to clean it up. We kept waiting for our drinks. Even though we had finished our cakes, the drinks didn't seem to be arriving anytime soon. We saw people who had ordered after us took their drinks and left. We decided to remind one of the staff there that our drinks have not arrived, and they said it was coming soon. So we kept waiting. The drinks arrived about 10 minutes after we finished the cakes.
Used to come here all the time but won't be returning. Food was ok, not like it used to be and menu has been culled to next to nothing. Very limited choice. We were not even told what the specials of the night were. Waitress must have been having a bad night as came across very sour. Shame as this used to be a great little spot to have a good meal with friends.
Feb '16 Great/prompt & polite service. Garlic bread was garlic bread. Had the seafood platter which was to die for. Seafood flavoursome and cooked to perfection and served with chips. Generous service of each. Individual side salads and not just your standard of lettuce, tomato & cue. Wine served in an ice cubed ice bucket plus all given a glass of iced water to accompany wine drinking....a very good gesture. Shall definately be going back regularly.
First time in several years that I’d gone there and when I did, some people were having a function. The restaurant wasn’t even filled to capacity, yet staff told me they wouldn’t serve me because I wasn’t part of that group and could I come back in 2 hours? How about no! I don’t care if you’re busy due to someone having a party, it’s a public restaurant- everyone that comes in has a right to be served. You wouldn’t turn away customers during a normal busy period, why do so when the place isn’t even full? That incident basically told me I wasn’t important enough to consider serving. Not going there again!
Great coffee, Great customer service and very friendly staff. The last two times we've been there the staff were very welcoming and even went out of there way to say bye when we left. It's little things like this that stand out these days
