One of the last true music stores. . The owner was very friendly and helped me in choosing my first guitar to suit me. It's an awesome place with a massive selection of instruments, amps, speakers, parts.. the also do repairs on instruments and equipment. By the way, I recommend calling first, just in case he's out. You won't be disappointed with this place.
This is a great store that sells unusual and second hand gear as well as being able to get new stuff in. The owner, Maurice, has a wealth of knowledge and does repairs as well.
Did a great setup of my guitar for less than most other places. Will be using him for every setup from now on.

Over the years starting in the late 80s I have bought various amps and guitars from Maurice/Michael at James Music, and as well as that Maurice helped out with some electronics work on a 147 Leslie. Always worth stopping by to see what is available and to have a yarn. One of the last 'real' old-school music stores in Adelaide, or even Australia-wide.

Great shop with so much interesting musical stuff and the owner is switched on, helpful and friendly. Did a repair for me at a great price and if he hasn't got what you want he'll get it. Go for a look!
