Ordered big breakie with poached Eggs and scones with jam. And their Jamaica blend capacino. Food was average as the eggs were boiled and not poached. Service was alright. Portion sizes as shown in photos
Very disappointed with the whole experience. Not a great start to the New year. We are visiting to celebrate the new year and decided to have breakfast out. At first a little confused with the 15% surcharge public holiday when the public holiday is on the 2nd of Jan? Secondly ordered extra hash browns and didn’t receive them, when we asked for them the waitress explained that they were given to us, we kindly replied that they were mistaken, then the service staff came out and echoed the the wait staff and insisted we were not being truthful…. Moments later he came back we our receipt and apologized and that he will get the hash browns straight away. Within a minute the hash browns were served which was fantastic until we took a bite! They were frozen in the middle… at this point we had given up and simply advised the wait staff that the hash browns were frozen and left.. our order came to $132 that included the 15% surcharge $17.04 for a “public holiday” which in normal circumstances wouldn’t be an issue. Let’s just say Jamaica blue need to look into who they give franchises too because it’s detrimental to every other Jamaica blue franchise owner… needless to say I will never eat at a Jamaica blue again! Kid-friendliness: Plenty of room for kids Parking: In a shopping complex
The service was amazing! Staff were very professional and kind! We had a milkshake then a coffee and both were perfect! We also shared a quiche which was delicious. Highly recommend this cafe and will definitely be going back!!!
Coffee on Soy was very hot but OK. Nice and cool sitting outside.
As I walked in at 7am, there was only one person behind the counter and the restaurant smelt of body odour and it was quite noticeable. Please remember hygiene is 100% necessary with food but also with the team members presenting themselves for a shift at Jamaica. The large coffee for $6.40 was not worthy of what was provided either, I’d pay $4 at best and rate it a 5/10. Thanks but no thanks in the future.
Two take away coffees, both gross and burnt. Went back in and awkwardly told them and I said sorry to return it. No apology, just an explanation saying it's the kind of coffee not the way its been made that's the flavour. It was so burnt and undrinkable. Still no apology. Remade coffee for me, sat it on counter with a 'here it is' and a walk off. I said thank you again and was given the cold shoulder. Most businesses would prefer a customer speak up when something isn't satisfactory. Perhaps with the public holiday today and surcharge they naturally charge they figure they don't need manners or understanding? Won't be back.
amazing coffeee ordered big brekkie and bacon egg roll everything was amazing and the staff was really helpful excellent service even during busy hour
Only 4 * because between the server/cashier and barrista my order 'large americano with a large splash of cold milk' lost the milk component. As my order was a carry out I didn't discover this omission until I started my drink back at the car en route home.. To be fair, this omission could in part be due to the fact that in Au. an 'americano' is actually known as a 'long black'. However, pretty slick service meant I didn't have long to wait.. sometimes barristas seem to take..for ever. Lots of other seniors drinking and chatting, usually a sure sign of good value. Parking: The cafe is on the car park/mall interface. Wheelchair accessibility: Effortless, not even a steel shutter kerb between the inner cafe and the pavement. The pavement on which the cafe has numerous seats benches and tables, both under sunshades and in full or partial sunshine nost of which werefull. This is a very busy cafe at 10am. on a holiday Tuesday
Sorry to say the experience wasn't good...couldn't drink the coffee and the wait for the food was ridiculous... Staff were very polite and helpful but the place was half empty...
