Went for dinner with my 100 yo Granny. Staff were amazing and accommodating. I was worried about the food from the reviews... but for no reason at all. Sweet and sour pork was really good. Not too sweet like some places and the batter wasn't too thick. Good sized servings and well priced.

Special fried rice was dry and disgusting. Normally you get pork, beef and prawns. No beef, pork or prawns with this rice just ham and some peas. Worst ever. We also ordered beef and black bean. Beef was super dry and tasteless. Plus you can't pay by card as they are waiting for a new credit card machine. What a load of rubbish. They said the same this last Easter when we were here. Not coming back to this place and I don't recommend.

You must put it on Facebook if  your WiFi phone is down....our tea was cold before we could eat it .because we ..had to go get cash ?? Pls ...

had a birthday party for my friend in this restaurant. All of the food we ordered was really good, tasty and yum

We were very impressed with the quality of the food and the service.  The price is very reasonable. We had table service, but the takeaway service must be very popular going by the number of people coming in and ordering takeaway. The chef is Chinese and he is a great cook. My wife chose the spring rolls and she said they were the best she's had in years. We were served by Heidi who is very friendly and helpful. We'll be back for sure on our next visit to the alps.

I order honey chicken and steam dim sim. Really tasty and good.

Will not be back half of what I ordered off menu they did not have and serving time was terrible person I was with had 2 entrees and a main half finished before I even got anything never again

Worst Chinese food I have had. Gluggy satay sauce which tasted like corn flour, overly salty soup. Excess of cauliflower, made to look like chicken pieces. There was nothing nice about any of the five dishes I bought.

We have been coming to Sam's Place Jade  for a year and a half. The food is always good, and Sam cooks it to your liking. In recent times, Sam has got so busy that the waitresses when they answer the phone for Takeaway.  We dine in. We generally sit within Audible distance of the phone at reception, we hear often that the waitress has to explain food may be as long as 1hr 10mins, To both Phone orders and walk ins for Food. It's a shame that we see orders being cancelled both over the phone and at counter, Over the length of time to wait to be supplied. Surely this is DOLLARS walking out the door. In one evening for an hour we heard 4 Phone and 1 Counter orders turned away. Hope this business survives because Food is Good, But obviously turning away customers will have an impact.
