We had a wonderful lunch at Jackie’s Cafe. Sashimi, gyozas and sushi all well made and delicious. I enjoyed a guava kombucha and an iced latte. The chocolate brownie is also divine!! When we visited the cafe was super busy but the wait times for everything weren’t too long. We even ordered more than planned. We’d love to come back and try some breakfast dishes another time!!
Nice atmosphere and vibe to this cosy cafe however it was horribly overpriced for an average cheeseburger and crisps you guessed it they didn’t even have chips on the side but potato crisps!. The sandwich was decent but overall not the best value for money.
What's the optimal age for using an order at the table app? I mean, those over 30 are still deep in the affection for someone swanning up to the table and pretending we matter. The gen y and z cant get enough of someone older than them pretending that they matter. Whomever the target, I don't see them here, where the average age today is a whisper short of resenting that all the money spent on anti ageing creams apppears wasted. Once the launch codes to order we deciphered, including confirmation emails sigh, the chook sandwich was pretty good. The eggs are from a decent source, albeit served as bare as chook that laid them. If this place let the staff near the customers, it would probably develop the feeling of soul that would take it to 5*, upsell the eggs to what would appear to be a cohesive dish, ans perhaps I would actually like fries kumera of course with my sandwich...maybe even a drink without time to switch to a separate menu and scroll for life.
Nice and cozy coffee shop. We were there first time and liked it. The coffee was rich in flavor and very tasty
food is superb. im not usually fond of salad but this salmon salad is really good, delicate taste and full
Jackie’s does a basic menu really well. They have friendly enough staff and a nice outdoor area. They’re also about 20% more expensive than the other cafes in the area and eggs with avo on toast and coffee for two people will run you about $75. Now they’ve introduced tipping to the checkout making guests feel like they are being cheap for not appreciating the work of the staff, when it is the owner who is not appreciating them enough to pass that already collected 20% onto them.
Best scrambled eggs and sides I've had in Sydney. Bacon was crispy and flavourful, tomatoes were roasted to perfection and the eggs were soft and fluffy. Their salad bowls are great too. The homemade tumeric and ginger shot was a real winner, intense flavours and fun to drink. Staff aren't particularly friendly or attentive, but you soon forget about their misgivings when the food comes out.
We found the place cold and windy, had to ask for the heater to be put on! The toilet was filthy, it doesn’t take much to wash the dirty fingerprints from the door. Prices are very expensive for small serves and loose sushi rolls. Do not appreciate being charged 15% surcharge. Sitting next to steps is a safety hazard for both customers and staff with chairs teetering on the edge of a metre drop.
A pretty nice cafe to bring people to as there is a nice interior. It's a place that gets busy and I really like the concept of sushi and cafe. The dishes are a unique take on dishes e.g. breakfast ramen. Although I enjoyed the traditional ramen more I could see this being enjoyed by others who do not like the traditional style of ramen. The other dishes look great too and can recommend meeting people here if you're in the area.
Lovely cafe with relaxed and charming setting. Service is prompt and friendly. We enjoyed the dinner of freshly made good quality sushi and surprisingly tender and juicy sliced sirloin steak salad . The mousse is not really “ dark chocolate “ ,the matcha flavour of the matcha icecream is too weak for our liking. The prices are a bit high for the sizes of dishes. Overall a pleasant experience. Thank you.
