Not worth the price. Got recommended but Ben didn’t even bother to try to blend in my fade. When I asked him to fade the back that was very choppy he said “well it’s the same of your head that Stops it from being blended” I get a skin fade weekly and that was complete bull***. The price jumped from 27 to 35 suddenly after that.
I had the haircut it was mostly just a trim on the 31/12/22 and a sign outside said $18 cuts but I got charged $25 - I can only guess it was because I'm not Asian. I would liked to have given this place 5 stars because the guy did a great job and exactly what I wanted, but I felt ripped off. Also he wasn't friendly or chatty like most hair dressers, despite me trying to start a basic conversation.
I’m not a Karen who loves to complain and I have never given any online review about any business or services but this shop has ruined my entire trip with an overpriced $35, 5 minutes sloppy, uneven hair cut that I had to spend another $25 at another shop to get my hair fixed right after visiting here. the Asian dude who cut my hair was unprofessional, didn’t say Hi to customers, rushing to get the haircut done even it was quiet, blow hair all over my shirt, and gave bad attitude when I politely requested to fix the hair it seems like they don’t bother to care if their customers are happy or not, super unfriendly atmosphere from beginning til end, No wonder why there’re so many angry comments here. Jack’s barber is by far the WORST haircut experience I’ve ever been to in my entire life, period.
THE WORST “BARBER SHOP” IN SYDNEY!! If you were unfortunate enough like me, you have experienced this terrible place called “Jack’s Hairdressing”. I’m an international student with mid-long hair. I stumbled across this place without doing any research first and fell right in to the SCAM. I sat down asked for a trim to make it shorter, the barber was a OLD CRANKY and IMPOLITE guy who waved his scissors around for ONLY 5 MINUTES with an uneven small trim. I then asked for it to be balanced and make it shorter. HE HAS THE AUDACITY TO SAY: “We only cut the men hair, we don’t cut hair like you, your hair is like for the woman” yes, he said it with his broken English. As I was about to leave, as a student, advertising said I only have to pay $18. I was charged $25 for barely a haircut. CHEAP TRICKS TO GET YOUR MONEY, NEVER GO HERE.
I don't know why we don't have zero or negative stars. Very rude. Very quick cut not even 5 minutes. Cut was uneven told 'em to fix but the he didn't want to, said no no no. I think they need quick bucks to pay their rent. Beware.Service: Hairstyling
Very dirty place and equipment. I had to wash my hair thoroughly after the cut as my scalp felt so itchy, it could be infested with lice. This barber wanted to charge me more when I told him that he did not cut my hair the way I asked him to. I just learnt that I don't have to pay him more than what is advertised. It's a scam! Always used to be $18 for a cut. Sign on the door said $18, but with "students from" in small print that I missed. I then got stung for $25 for a rushed and mediocre job that took around 5 minutes. Price has gone up 40%, but the man in charge had the cheek to tell me that the price was "same as always". Never again.
DO NOT go there! I made a mistake to take my son there for a simple boys haircut. Now he looks like this haircut was done with a pot on top of his head. The hairdresser was rushing, the owner wasn't pleasant.
It was advertised that Seniors cuts are $20. After my cut, I was asked to pay $27 since I asked the short Chinese chubby guy with glasses to give me a shorter cut at the sides. I asked for a receipt but he ignored me. So it looks like they don't pay much taxes as they accept cash only and the credit card machine does not work. Rude, smelly, dirty scissors, combs and the barber cape/gown smells mouldy. AVOID!Service: Hairstyling
The hairdresser rushed through the job, not even bothering to get off a phone call while cutting my hair. Unfriendly atmosphere. Below average, sloppy hair cut. Will not go there again.
