Great experience. Guides are very well versed in their local history and stories. Don't rush it though. You will need probably 2-3 hours to d  tour to Aradale which nearby but a different location.

Fantastic tour, our guide Rick was very knowledgeable of the history and told some great stories. Highly recommend the tour.

Fascinating tour and gives a great historical context on how we used to deal with incarceration and mental health.  Whilst there are some differing views on how we deal with these things now, there were clearly some people that were at different ends of the offending spectrum.nSpecial mention to our guide Alan who was knowledgeable and enthusiastic, and clearly has a passion for telling the story of this place.

Visited here with my partner and did the J Ward Lunatic Asylum tour at 9pm.nnWe had a great time and the lady tour guide and the man locking the doors behind us as we did the tour did an amazing job.nnThe stories, vibe, and scenery were just amazing. We got along with the man locking the doors, he was great to talk to and get along with.nnThey also shown a documentary at the end of the tour which shows real life footage of the stories told during the tour won't forget one-eyed George!.nnYou are also given Dowsing Rods and EMF Emitters which was a bit out of me and my partners comfort zone as we normally like to be at the back of the group, but I gave in and participated and turned out to be really fun and it was really inclusive and you don't feel left out at all.nnWell done guys, you do an amazing job and your position is much appreciated.nn10/10 definitely recommend!

Was a very interesting tour absolutely worth the money! The tour staff were brilliant Beryl was outstanding! She was patient with my brother who suffers from an ABI and is legally blind, as he tends to bud in as you’re talking ect we also forgot his cane and they found a stick to help him out.nnRecommend if your visiting the town :
