Story

J & R Hair Designers is an modern, award winning hairdressing salon that has been established in the city heart of Mackay for over 30 years. Within that time J & R Hair Designers has only had 2 owners with the current owner - Amanda Schwarzrock (Muscat) owning the salon for over 10 years.

J & R Hair Designers prides itself on giving you the best hairdressing experience possible with all of its staff trained to the highest levels. We achieve this buy attending and participating in education locally, nationally and internationally.

We love to make our clients look and feel great!!! We are able to do this by providing our clients with an in depth consultation, that will look at your face shape, skin tones, lifestyle and many other factors that contribute to a great hairstyle.

We can also help you with styling advice and maintenance at home for your style to achieve longevity to your look.

Plus you will also be offered your choice of freshly made Victorria Coffee, Cappacino, Premium and Flavoured Tea or Hot Chocolate while you enjoy your visit with us...

Oh, did we mention our Shampooing area is to die for...the basins all pivot to allow for the most comfort available and our chairs also have a massage function that you won't want to leave!!!!
