We had buffet OMG so good as you can see from the photos. Worth paying for good quality meat Remember to order within the time frame and just order a lot if you can finish it! We are a bit slow and missed out, they didn't let us order more
First time coming here... didn’t really have much expectation but after trying several food. I would say this is a pretty good food for the locals here. Yummy...and is a good Santori beers. Wish it could be colder.
Exceptional food and wonderful service. I have been going to this restaurant for 5 years plus and can’t fault the quality, freshness and authenticity of the food. Beautiful little restaurant tucked away in Mullumbimby with cozy and relaxed ambiance. Would recommend to order different things to share between guests as they bring it out as it is ready and this makes for a tasty dining experience. Sometimes the wait time can be a little longer than one might want however everything is made fresh to order so this should be expected especially when the restaurant is busy. Really can’t speak more highly of this local business. Also I suggest to book ahead as they can get full in the evenings and you definitely want to make sure you get a spot. Gorgeous food. The best sashimi I've ever eaten. Everything was so fresh.
Loved this place! Cute and cozy but we didn't feel cramped at all. Tao looked after us and made our dinner so much better just by being an excellent person/waiter. It's pricey like you would expect Japanese to be, but so very worth the price. This is my favourite place to eat in my favourite town.
Although I got my hand slit by the sharp lid on the bottle, needing band-aid. The food was good, very friendly staff, everyone says hello and goodbye.

Excellent Japanese food. Really OG spot. Good cooking. Even the sushi rolls for take out are freshly made and really delicious.
Delicious food, best sushi I've ever had
I've been going here since it opened. Very good food, authentic Japanese. I usually get a miso soup, agadashi tofu and sashimi. Always the same, very tasty. The tuna in the sashimi is usually a bit different, same fish just depends on the chef and how it has been cut. Really fresh fish. The only downfall of the place is the main guy, who runs the place. I see him every time I'm there, but no friendly acknowledgement, it's like it's my first time there. He has an arrogance about him. For this I'm removing one star. It's expensive too but the food is exceptional.
