Have brought my cats, dog and even my old rats here over the years for various issues, even when living centrally. Genuine vet and have always been able to help at short notice. Significantly more knowledgeable than the chain vets, who seem to give out scripted advice as opposed to individual assessments.
I started attending Ivanhoe East vet after hearing good things and looking for a clinic local to me. Fast forward eight years, the pets with me may have changed, and I now live half an hour away, but I couldn't imagine going anywhere else. The team have gone above and beyond more times than I can count. From emergencies, to the hard times of saying goodbye to a pet, to genuinely making us feel part of the clinic family whenever we stop in. I've sent numerous friends and family their way and if you're reading this review trying to choose a vet, I hope I've convinced you to look no further!nThank you Ivanhoe East Vet team for putting up with me and my little ferrals, past, present and future.
I’m very pleased that I changed to East Ivanhoe Vet several years ago as my cat’s health dramatically improved shortly afterwards thanks to Rob’s excellent diagnostics.nnI wanted to thank Rob & the wonderful nurses for the compassionate care and support they always provided my cat Sam over the years he attended their clinic. I cannot praise Rob’s caring nature more highly as he always took the time to explain everything carefully & thoroughly. He also ensured that my cat’s last hours ended with dignity and respect so that I was left with positive memories.

Dr Rob and his team have been fantastic during a very difficult time. Our 3year old cat was unexpectedly diagnosed with lymphoma prior to Easter holidays. The team were always accomodating, provided clear communication and facilitated timely effective treatment. Every time we call/come in we are always greeted by the team and asked how our cat is doing. The journey has only started but we feel supported with the kind of care that Ivanhoe East Vet has provided.
